Ok, I'm going to san antonio this weekend on a road trip. I am actually staying at this gluten free bed and breakfast which i'm very excited about, at least one meal will be safe. The woman who owns it is supposed to be able to direct me towards gluten free places to eat during my stay, but I was wondering if anyone lives there/has visted there and has any suggestions of good gluten-free places to eat near the river walk!! Thanks in advance!

Are you staying at the Chicken Paradise? If so, enjoy!! I can recomend the Little Aussie Bakery. EVERYTHING there is gluten free!!!

Yes! That's where I'm staying, I'm so excited, have you ever been there?

Just wanted to throw in a little input on San Antonio from back in November. The support group there is awesome! I got all my info from their webpage:

Open Original Shared Link

I went to the Little Aussie Bakery -- wonderful pizza and as other posters here have mentioned, the whole place is gluten free! It was amazing to eat bread dipped in olive oil as an appetizer in a restaurant, too! :) The tiramisu was also fantastic. There was nothing to worry about, and the best part, no questions to ask the waiter!

I also ate at Aldaco's; there's a gluten free menu at Open Original Shared Link, and the server helped me too. The salsa is hands down the best I've ever eaten. Darn the terrorists for messing up the possibility of taking liquids on a plane, because I really wanted to bring it home with me, but it was in a styrofoam cup with a lid. I met the owner -- super nice. Definitely go here if you are in San Antonio.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
