Can anyone tell if these ingredients are gluten free? I am having major trouble with this!

Here is the list

Lycium Chinese, Vitis coignetiae, Myrica rubra, Maninaria japonica, Morus australis, Rubus buergeri, Elaeagnus montana, Hizikia fusiforme, Artemisia montana, Plantago asiatica, Mountain Spring Water. The product is 100% natural and totally vegetarian.

I know just because it says natural and vegetarian does not make it gluten free.

Thanks in advance

It is actually a new probiotic that I had been researching, and I finally ordered it today. I couldn't believe this is on the packaging """"Recommended for infants, children, pregnant or nursing mothers, the elderly and those with compromised immune system"""" The product is called - Dr. Ohira's, Essential Formulas Inc., Dr. Ohhira's 12 Plus Probiotic Formula

It is supposed to be so good for you that mostly nutritionists and Drs carry it, and take it. It is also one that the alternative dr's suggest.

I am anxious to try it, it should be here by Sat or Mon. I can post after I take it for a bit if you like. I know that you take a lot of it in the first 5 days -

Most of the reviews I have read are all fantastic. Especially for IBS, and helps with acne too.

Interesting....I googled the acne-helping aspect of it and people seem to really like the stuff. I'm kind of curious to try it now. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Here's the update -

I took these pills for almost a week. I did get an email from the company, and I talked to them on the phone...they did tell me that they were gluten free. The person told me that their 6 yr old neice takes 7 of these pills a day.

I started with the loading dose that was recommended. At first they did give me energy, and I slept better at night(that's not why I was taking them, but...they did). But I think I started to have a healing crisis, but not for sure as I started to do a lot of itching, and had some immediate nueropathy problems so I think they have something in them that my system doesn't agree with. The flyer that came inside the box says there is 82 other ingredients but they were not willing to tell me what they were..so I thought it best to stop taking something that I don't know all the ingredients too.

I had to go back to the probiotics that I was taking in the beginning.

P.S. My skin looked awesome all week!

I also had high eosinophils which I’ve never had before either - could that be due to gluten consumption?

You're welcome! Be sure the patient eats at least ten grams of gluten per day for a minimum of two weeks prior to repeating antibody testing.   Some people unconsciously reduce the amount of gluten in their diet because the feel unwell.  Three grams of gluten per day is sufficient to produce symptoms.  Only at ten grams or more is the immune system provoked to raise the antibody production high enough so that the antibodies leave the digestive tract and enter the blood stream where they can be measured.   Read the comments below the article...

Thanks for your response and thoughts. Total IgA is normal. HLA DQ2/DQ8 came as heterozygous and the interpretation of the lab that the risk of coeliac disease is mild to moderate. Thyroid function test is normal. I agree that the best way is to repeat tTG antibodies in 6 months time as the result was not massively high.

Welcome to the forum, @Wamedh Taj-Aldeen, How is the patient's thyroid?   You could check for thiamine deficiency which can cause the thyroid to either become hyper or hypo.  TTg IgA can be high in both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.  tTg IgA can also be high if patient is taking medications to stimulate the thyroid as in hypothyroidism.   Thanks for visiting!  Keep us posted!
