Kame Rice Crackers

Just curious...

I've been eating them since I went gluten-free on Aug. 1st with no problem but 2 days ago had the seaweed crackers and felt glutened. Had them again the next day because I didn't think they were the problem and had stomach problems again. Opened a new pack of the plain rice crackers and feel heart-burnish now.

I know they say they are produced in a facility containing wheat, but I also know somone else with celiac who eats them regularly with no problems.

Anyone else having problems with these???

I don't eat them regularly, but when I do, I don't seem to notice any problems!

I ate these a few times without any reactions, then boom! I react everytime I eat them. I just dont use them anymore. Which stinks, b/c my grocery store carries them regularly, I dont have to go anywhere else to get them.

Thanks for the replies.

I emailed the company and asked if the crackers were made on a decicated line. The response I got was as follows:

Dear Joni,

The crackers do not have wheat or gluten in them however it is present in the facility. There are strict guidelines concerning the sanitizing of the machinery which is followed however there is always a minimal chance of cross contamination.

I'm happy they were honest with me, but I doubt I will buy those crackers again.

      Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

      I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

      Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
