You could have eaten something with gluten in it???

My poo is really stinky and gross when I was eating gluten and now if I get CC'd.

Other thing maybe something that was really fatty?

I'm not on a gluten free diet yet. Gonna get tested first.

Do you relate to the smelling like vomit thing?

This could be your answer: still eating gluten

Anytime the gastro tract is upset poo gets to have a funny color: orangey, yellow and odor. It's a sign of maldigestion.

Just this summer I had my gallbladder out and after the surgery for weeks I had orangey poo. Doctors weren't concerned over it. It went away as I healed. But I had a lot of gastro upset and maldigestion and diarreah.

Yes I think it can be a sign of malabsorption, not digesting your food. The vomit smell is because that is essentially what it is, the food passes undigested or only partially digested from your stomach and through your intestine.

I don't remember, are you in the process of testing, waiting for an endoscopy or so?

I haven't had any tests yet, I'm waiting to get into to GI doctor. I did an experiment where I cut gluten out of my diet for a week and a half, and I did notice a difference. My digestion was closer to normal than it has been in a long time after a week, and when I reintroduced gluten (I reintroduced it at breakfast and lunch one day and then didn't eat it again for the next 48 hours) I had a lot of what I used to call depression/anxiety for the next couple of days... this feeling I've had so many time, like there was something wrong, but I didn't know what (well, now I do!).

I hope you don't need to wait too long! Good luck with the testing. :)

Thinking back, I used to get this once in a while before being diagnosed. I can relate--good luck with your testing, and I hope that you don't have to suffer with gluten for much longer. :):)

It could be gallbladder related.

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
