It's Easier Now.... Somehow.

Weird. I've complained about the gluten-free diet since about 3 weeks after I went on it. I admit, I've cheated - and I've figured it was ok. My blood tests, while slightly positive, weren't "enough" for proof, apparently. My biopsy was negative, according to the GI. Even though there were "issues" that could be connected to Celiac, it was determined that I did not, in fact, have Celiac Disease.

However, since receiving the news that I do, in fact, carry the Celiac gene, as well as an overall sensitivity gene, this "diet" doesn't seem anywhere near as cumbersome, anymore.

So, I'm starting to understand those who insist that "proof" will help them to better adhere to the strictness of the diet.

I get it now.

And, I'm happy to say that my commitment is now 100%, for life. I could not make that statement before, even for my child's benefit. But now, for her...and for myself - there will be no faltering.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
