HI!

Hope this isn't in violation of some forum rule. I only saw a short list and I didn't see anything that related to this.

DOes anyone have this book and would like to get rid of it or sale it really cheap? I really don't want to pay for a new book since I intend on ripping it to pieces and having it laminated and hole punched but I will since I have made several recipes out of the library copy and we have loved them. I thought I would check here first and see if anyone was clearing out their shelves or had a banged up copy they were going to pitch. OTherwise I will find one at the store tomorrow since I have a full week of cooking and perfer to hang the recipe on the cabinet above my mixing station. Makes it easier than a regualr cook book.

Thanks

Stacie

Have you checked the recipe section of this forum. We have accumulated a cazillion recipes all gluten free and many dairy and soy free. Take a walk around. :)

Have you checked e.b.a.y.? I did a quick yahoo search and saw it as low as $12.

I absolutely LOVE that recipe book. And I also am really loving her other books...especially Cooking Free where she takes on multiple food allergies. She does tend to repeat a lot of her recipes from book to book. So you may also want to check those out. You may luck out and find one at a better price.

I'm finding this is my go to cookbook like my 17 year old wore out Cookbook (betty crocker? It's red plaid, I long ago wore it out and lost the cover. I then hole punched it and realized all cookbooks should come this way. SO much easier!!!) It has every basic recipe in it and has yet to turn out a dud. I'll look at that other. I ordered a bunch thru the library and so far this has the most "normal" recipes for my guys out of the first bunch I've tried. I'll see what other cookbooks I can try when I return this group.

Thanks

Stacie

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
