Okay...I was a nay-sayer before about how hair and skin care products couldn't gluten you...not anymore.

So...hair and body care...and make up...what do you use?

(I have the everyday minerals sample...I'm reacting to it...but I just read that whole other post on it - I'm wondering if I'm reacting to the brushes! My sister gave me a set of Bare Minerals brushes for Christmas...where do I get a good brush that won't cause hay allergies?).

THANKS!!!!

(oh...and I cannot afford A rbonne...as much as I'd LOVE to....I cannot).

Dove and Suave will label all gluten products. I use Oil of Olay Quench hand lotion and their face lotion too.

As for the brushes...I'm sorry i can't help with that one.

Hi, I just got my order from Everyday Minerals too and applied w/ a Sonia Kashuk synthetic brush from Target. I loved the way it looked afterwards and this is the softest brush I've ever found.

As for hair care, I have course thick hair and its never looked better since I switched to all gluten-free products. I use Loreal Moisture Shampoo w/ leave in condtioner. I was looking for a gluten-free hair spray but contacted Kenra last week and was told the Clear Paste is gluten-free. I put it on wet hair, blow dry, and apply to style. The hold is strong enough I don't need hair spray but still touchable, w/ lots of volume, definition, and shine!

Still looking for a good mascara. Tried Lavera and it disappears w/in a couple of hrs not to mention too expensive. Anyone have a mascara they love?

Hello, I was very stick,  with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel.  Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change?  What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?

Eating out in general is full of risks, but this article may help:

This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to being "safe".

I don't live in the US, but based on this thread, I wouldn't risk it:   https://www.reddit.com/r/glutenfree/comments/1n2ehw8/cracker_barrel/   This app is helpful: https://www.findmeglutenfree.com/

I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
