I love peanut butter... but two of my three are allergic. Obviously, it doesn't enter our house... EVER.

I found Sunbutter several months ago, and have grown to love it.

In the store on *this* website, I found Enjoy Life Sunbutter Bars and ordered some.

They are AWESOME!!!! They taste like really chewy peanut butter cookies, and of course... they are (top 8) allergen free, as well as gluten free.

Perhaps you all already know about this product, but it's totally new to me...and I love it!!!

In fact, yesterday in one of my classes, my professor brought in fresh baked peanut butter cookies from the pastry shop on campus. I was saved by that Enjoy Life bar... I had it tucked in my backpack for a rainy day. Who knew!! =)

My daughter has a life threatening allergy to peanuts, her's is so serious she has airborne reactions. I bought her the Enjoy Life sunbutter bars and she would not eat them, (I love them) over the past 16 years she has come to associate the smell of peanut butter with her allergy and possibly death and when she opened one she immediately said, "I'm not eating this" I told her that they didn't contain any nuts at all (she is allergic to tree nuts too) and she said just the smell of the is making me sick.

In her case its probably a good thing.. so I ended up eating them all!

My daughter won't go near them either. The smell "offends" her. Neither of my little ones (or my big one, for that matter) will eat Sunbutter either. But, I figure... since it works for me as a PB substitute, and won't harm them - it's a really great treat for mama! =)

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
