Growing up I remember reading about how another country fly over us and unleash irritants in the air that could cause us to have cancer or die etc etc...

I know this sounds paranoid...but...

Do you think its possible somebody, out there... genetically modified wheat to have a chemical complex in it that would kill off lots of the population in a certain period of time? Like...basically a hacker putting a worm on the internet....but this chemist put a virus in the wheat genome?

How would we ever know?

Its just very crazy to me...because wheat is in everything... and they feed it to the animals, which we eat too...

What is going on?... anyone want to get paranoid with me? haha...but really? yeah? maybe?... is there more than meets the eye... I know they have designed plants to make drugs, to which they harvest the plant in such a way to get the drug out... I read about this.

Just off the top of my head...I could imagine the pharma companies working with the GM companies. They GM crops to give us all these problems, then the pharmas have a HUGE market for more medication to treat the problems caused by the GM crops. hmmm

oh, and if i suddenly disappear from these boards ...that may be from the gang of people who will kidnap me so this information doesn't get leaked too much.

I think it's more likely the case we have outsmarted ourselves via hybridization/genetic maipulation as we have sought to engineer wheat varieties with more and more gluten that makes bread hold together better and better. Original wild stocks of wheat had a two-stranded gene for gluten whereas our modern varieties have a six-stranded gene for making gluten. Some studies have suggested that the ancient wild varieties don't produce a Celiac reaction when ingested.

I don't think its intentional but they have been killing us since the 60s when the wheat was modified.

Anything for the almighty dollar I guess. I think its why support of SlowFood movement, Buy Fresh Buy Local movements and farmers markets are so important. Then again nothing would surprise me -- even if we both disappeared!

<_<

The bottom line is ... well the bottom line.

We live in a 'corrupt' society where being elected to office is a way to line someones pockets or those of their friends and relatives. Not everyone does but enough do and others see this as 'normal' and turn a blind eye.

Unfortunately this is the best we have .... much as we love to say democracy is so great, its really just the best of a poor set of options. The fundamental problem with democracy is that the "aye's" have it. In order to get something passed all that needs to be done is to convince the voting public ... and the easiest way is to promise more $ in their pockets...

It would seem that the latter part of last century we actually did go through a change, perhaps America started but others have certainly either followed or taken the same path regardless.

We now have a culture where we buy everything, where the $ (or Euro or Pound) is the last word.. and where mostly people will not even do a kindness to others without being paid. Much as this is a tragedy in itself it provides a great cover for corporations .... the farmer is offered the modified grain... which allows them to get an edge on the farm next door... and sell at a higher profit margin etc. etc.

Because in most cases most people no longer buy from the farmer, or even the person who buys from the farmer or the person who buys from the person ...etc. no-one really gives two hoots about the quality, if its good for us etc.. etc.

The fundamental principle of capitalism's self regulation is that the end consumer will not buy the poor products but we are no longer given any choice over supply for many items and the starting products are so mixed up (the produce of farmer A is mixed with the produce of farmers B-Z) and mixed in with other products (additives etc.) that it makes no sense anyway. The only way farmer A can sell competitively is by selling the cheapest bulk.

However, conspiracy theories have a huge role.... the big conspiracy is that as long as we have conspiracy theories the corporations can get away with whatever they want because ... well mention it and its a conspiracy theory :D ...

Lets try .... most fruits are deliberately infected with candida .... ???

Right.

Consider these facts:

  • The drug companies are the ones keeping medical journals in business, through advertising. And just like TV networks, the editors don't want to lose sponsors by promoting good health, herbs, natural stuff, etc. The doctors rely on this info to keep informed, so all their info is thus influenced by drug companies.

  • The average cardiologist gets a visit from a drug rep twice per week.

  • Drug companies supply medical schools with the majority of scholarship funding.

  • Most drugs are FDA approved based on data supplied by the manufacturer, not independent testing.

  • Influential people from drug companies have been known to end up working at the FDA, and vice-versa.

There's plenty more, but what I'm getting at here is that the medical establishment is tailored to suit the drug companies. Furthermore, the food industry is tailored to suit the medical establishment. Take for instance the artificial sweetener scam. They knew right from the very start that aspartame was a neurotoxin, and it can't even be cooked without turning carcinogenic. Yet even to this day the FDA keeps issuing statements proclaiming it is safe, all the while banning the natural sweetener Stevia. They even went as far as demanding a book burning, of a recipe book and other publications about Stevia. Their position on Stevia actually violates their own rules, since Stevia has been in use for centuries, with absolutely no known side effects whatsoever. According to regulations, this means Stevia is to be given GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) status. Additionally, it has undergone rigorous testing in a number of countries around the world, most notably Japan, where it has been used and tested for over 25 years, and is now enjoyed in approximately half of the sweetened foods on the market. Also consider than Stevia is a natural extract, thus cannot be patented. Neither can the extraction process, which incidentally, uses just plain water. The artificial sweetener market is currently around $1.5 billion.

Now, let's consider GMO corn. Originally, GMO corn was only supposed to be used for animal feed, because tests showed heightened allergic reactions. However, today we now have it all over the place, and even unapproved types end up in our foods, through what are reportedly "mistakes". I for one believe this is deliberate, to conduct human trials on the unsuspecting population. Then the producer can go ahead and obtain approval far easier, and avoid the costs of rigorous testing. Let's not forget that a number of GMO foods like corn produce seeds which aren't viable, forcing farmers to buy seed each year rather than use some of what they grow.

When you look at why fluoride is put into public water supplies all over the country, even though many countries around the world have banned this poison, it makes you wonder. Especially since fluoride has been known to be a toxic substance for a long, long time. It's an industrial waste product, and nobody knew what to do with it, so they lobbied officials, and convinced the public that somehow it was healthy, so they could dump the stuff in our water.

Here's some stuff about pharmaceuticals which will have anyone with two or more active brain cells thinking:

The military has been known to test bio-weapons on unsuspecting communities too, and there are actually laws which allow this to continue. This is a well published fact.

And, to top it all off, the idea that the population might be getting stuff dumped on it from the air is not new:

Well now that we are all in this conspiracy together...

Good message. Thanks to many of these alternative movements small farmers have alternatives at least with candida free fruit B)

Your experience is both shocking and critically important for the community to hear, underscoring the terrifying reality that cross-contamination can extend into the most unexpected and invasive medical devices. It is absolutely devastating that you had to endure six months of sickness and ultimately sustain permanent vision loss because a doctor dismissed your legitimate, life-altering condition. Your relentless research and advocacy, from discovering the gluten in MMA acrylic to finding a compassionate prosthodontist, is a testament to your strength in a system that often fails celiac patients. While the scientific and medical consensus is that gluten cannot be absorbed through the skin or eyes (as the molecules are too large to pass through these barriers), your story highlights a terrifying gray area: what about a substance *permanently implanted inside the body*, where it could potentially shed microparticles or cause a localized immune reaction? Your powerful warning about acrylic lenses and the drastic difference with the silicone alternative is invaluable information. Thank you for sharing your harrowing journey and the specific, severe neurological symptoms you endure; it is a stark reminder that celiac is a systemic disease, and your advocacy is undoubtedly saving others from similar trauma.

I am so sorry you're going through this bad experience--it's difficult when your own lived reality of cause and effect is dismissed by the very professionals meant to help you. You are absolutely right—your violent physical reactions are not "what you think," but undeniable data points, and it's a form of medical gaslighting to be told otherwise, especially when you have a positive HLA-DQ2 gene and a clear clinical picture. Since your current "celiac specialist" is not addressing the core issue or your related conditions like SIBO and chronic fatigue, it may be time for a strategic pivot. Instead of trying to "reprove" your celiac disease to unwilling ears, consider seeking out a new gastroenterologist or functional medicine doctor, and frame the conversation around managing the complications of a confirmed gluten-free diet for celiac disease. Go in and say, "I have celiac disease, am strictly gluten-free, but I am still suffering from these specific complications: SIBO, chronic fatigue, dermatological issues, and high blood pressure linked to pain. I need a partner to help me address these related conditions." This shifts the focus from a debate about your diagnosis to a collaborative plan for your current suffering, which is the help you truly need and deserve to work toward bouncing back.

Hello, no I had to have them re done and then used a liner over the top.  Many dentists are not aware of the celiac effects.  Best of luck.   There is other material, yet, very expensive.

He is not just a psychiatrist.  He is also a neuroscientist.  And yes, I have already read those studies.   I agree with benfotiamine.  This is short term while glutened/inflammation occurs.  As I had already mentioned, these symptoms no longer exist when this phase passes.  And yes, I know that celiac is a disease of malnutrition.  We are working with a naturopath.
