I am heading to Albuqerque in a few weeks and it just wouldn't be a trip to New Mexico without green chile (red is OK but I'm a green girl and I like it hot). Does anyone know if Sadie's or Weck's can do gluten-free? Or, if you have other suggestions please let me know.

So I'm heading back to Albuquerque and know gluten-free food has come a long way...anyone know where I can get gluten-free green chile?

Well, my mom lives in Albuquerque, so I gave her a call. She said that she hasn't been able to find green chile that isn't safe. Apparently the SW loves flour. . . .

Her recommendations(?) are:

Little Anitas (not sure on gluten-free status) Be careful of chips (everywhere), often fried with sopapillas.

Sadies, good gluten-free menu, again, not sure on the chili.

For fast food:

Taco Cabana (Green Chili not gluten-free)

Hope that helps.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.

Many years ago yes, after eating and going to bed, apparently my esophagus filled with food that my body rejected, the esophagus would lay against the Heart sack (pericardium?) and the heart would respond by becoming arrhythmic. That went away with the strict diet.

I was commenting on the report saying it did not mention migraines! Yes it does last paragraph says have not seen any evidence that Celiac cause migraines! I thought this was about truth?
