Glutened By A Sloppy Drunk!?

Sorry I've been posting so much in here, but I can't believe I was glutened by a sloppy drunk/high dude! I was at a festival (with loud music) and he comes up to me and stands really close, talking loudly in my ear b/c he cant hear very well. As he was talking he was holding a large glass of beer and eating cheese crackers from a bag....his glass was wobbly, I was just waiting for it to spill. He continued to talk my ear off and it seemed the more he talked the more he started to spit and slober...I then realized the spit was getting on my face and it even landed in my eye once! I started backing away, but he continued to talk and follow me like a magnet. I was holding grapes in my hand that I had just picked and he started taking them off the vine and eating them as he talked...w/o even asking (funny, b/c he's drunk, but not cool since he was touching crackers and just being gross) He wasnt creepy or anything, and I didnt want to be mean, but I just said "here, take the grapes" and walked away. later on he came up to me again and ended up spilling beer right in my path as it splashed on me.....so I'm thinking "great"......I wasnt anywhere near water or a place to wash my hands......a half hour later I started getting gurgling in my stomach, now I'm all bloated and have gas that smells like puke!!!!

I'm thinking maybe it was the grapes, but then I realized I was eating them while the dude was talking to me, some of his spit probably got onto the grapes!

this is my first non-intentional glutening in 5 months! And a gross one!

anyone have similar experiences???

Ewwwwww.....

Nope, never had drunk slobber on my food. That sucks!

That's by far the most terrible gluten experience.......... Gosh I'm sorry!

The closest I've come is kissing someone that drank beer - got a little sick from it. The stuff is potent.

Hope you feel better soon!

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
