Did anyone see the Rice Chex box? On the side panel, in beautiful large print it says "Gluten Free" It goes on to say what Celiac Disease is, and ends by saying they support funding to the celiac disease foundation.

I love them. It was awesome to see this on a box of "mainstream" cereal from a large company

I just brought "Chex Mix" to a party this past weekend and no one noticed the missing wheat and corn chex at all. They loved it, it tastes exactly the same! :D

I saw it...I hope other companies will notice and compete with Rice Chex for making gluten-free cereals that are affordable. I wish Pebbles would announce it too and help get the competition going!

Let's all write to them!

I've also purchased a box of Rice Chex because of the info on this forum saying it is gluten free. I ate it, and didn't get sick. I've also thought of contacting the company to thank them for making this product available.....heck, maybe they will give me a coupon towards another purchase!!

Sorry to inform you otherwise, but no, you won't get a coupon. At least, I didn't.

best regards, lm

Right after I replied to this topic, I opened up the Sunday newspaper, and low and behold.....a coupon good for $1 off two boxes of Chex cereal!

I love Rice Chex so much, I was thrilled when I found out I could eat them again.

I'm now hoping Rice Krispies will go gluten-free as well, so I can make some Rice Krispies Treats again. I miss those things!

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
