I must agree- I know you feel horrid but there are some things that must be ruled out. Please go, we are all so worried about you!

Yes. One of them is MENINGITIS. I am TRYING to scare you. You absolutely must be seen by someone to rule that out as soon as humanly possible. Have you got any kind of little red-dot rash on you? Have somebody check you all over.

So, how ya doin, what's going on.... We're worried!

Well, I still have the headache and swollen glands. I am pretty fatigued (not nearly as much) and also have the muscle achyness all over, but I am doing much better.

I went out for Halloween, just to see my niece and nephew before they went trick or treating. Yesterday I rested all day because I knew today I was going to try to give shopping a try for the first time in at least a month. I will take it real slow and go easy on myself. I also promise to quit when I get too tired.

Wish me luck, my mom and sister are on their way to pick me up!

Take it slow, and don't over-do! (motherly voice :D )

I'm glad to see you're improving a bit ;)

Well, we decided the outlet mall would be too much so we just went to a few stores around here. We did two stores, then a leisurely lunch and two stores more before I was beat. My sister wanted to go to the mall, but I couldn't. We dropped her and my daughter off and picked them back up later. We met them at Pier 1 and I didn't even have enough strength to browse my favorite, the clearance sale. Luckily, it was only two minutes from home where my mom fixed me an iced tea, gave me my pro-biotics, some ibuprofen and a blanket before taking off. We had a great day and I was exhausted. Later that night, I got up to get some water and my feet were hating me! Oh! I may have pushed it a bit much, but I am fine today. Still fatigued, but I'll live.

Thanks to everyone for the concern!

Sounds like maybe you're finally "turning the corner". :D

Yeah, that's about how I feel. I am still not myself, achy muscles, headache, some ear pain left and only about half the amount or less of that nasty fatigue.

I am actually going to drive myself to Wal-Mart now (first time driving in over a month) because the hubby has a sore throat and we're out of honey. Plus, I want some of that $1.66 Rice Chex everybody's been talking about. I'm stocking up for making holiday rice crispy treats, processing some up for 'breadcrumbs' and saving the rest just for cereal!

Glad to hear your finally feeling a bit better. Just don't overdo, you don't want to backslide.

If you get a chance, my local health food store has tinctures and oils, one of which is mullein oil in olive oil, it's an infusion. Ask at the counter if they have it. It works very well to clear ears of clogs and infection, just work a little drop in there twice a day. Absolutely saved my life a couple years ago, I was ready to drill my ears out I'd gone so deaf & painful from a cold.

Cold/flu or gluten poisoning? Hello. I've had another similar episode. I find it very difficult to differentiate between the symptoms of a cold or flu and those caused by gluten poisoning. In fact, I don't know if my current worsening is due to having eaten something that disagreed with me or if the cold I have has caused my body, which is hypersensitive, to produce symptoms similar to those of gluten poisoning.

I'm no longer dealing with constipation. I got my liver test last month and it was in normal range. Two years ago I did have a vitamin D deficiency but I'm know taking vitamin D3 pills. Last month I got my vitamin D checked and it was in normal range. I don't believe I've had my choline checked. However, I do drink almond milk eat Greek yogurt on a daily basis.

Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity (NCGS) can be associated with low ferritin and iron deficiency. Once Celiac Disease (1% of the population affected) has been ruled out by tests the next step is to check for Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity (10% of the population affected) by eliminating gluten for a trial period, then re-introduce Gluten Challange. Have you been supplementing Iron? How are your liver enzymes? Low levels of ferritin indicate iron deficiency, while  59% transferrin saturation indicates high iron levels.  Possibly indicating Fatty Liver Disease.  Choline is crucial for liver health, and deficiency is a known trigger for Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver.  Some experts say that less than 10% eat the the Food and Nutrition Board established Adequate Intake that are based on the prevention of liver damage. Severe constipation and hemorrhoids may be linked to a bile or choline deficiency.  "Ninety-five percent of phospholipids (PLs) in bile is secreted as phosphatidylcholine or lecithin."  Fatty acid composition of phospholipids in bile in man   Deficiency of these bile salts causes the bile to get thick. Some people with Celiac Disease are misdiagnosed with Gall Bladder bile issues.  Removal of the gallbladder provides only temporary relief. Whether or not celiac disease or NCGS are your issues you need to look at your vitamin D blood level.

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.
