SORRY GUYS THIS IS THE RIGHT POST I WANTED TO POST PLEASE READ FULL STORY MANY THANKS AND HOW CAN MY OTHER POST BE DELETED I ONLY WANT TO KEEP THIS ONE THANKS

Hello I am new to this forum and i have been recently been told about wheat intorence and various things so i thought where better to ask for advice then here as you all must have been through something similar to my experience and need advice and the best advice from fellow suffers about confusion i am having with all the tests and advice i have had and advice i have been given and told to follow

OK to start with i have been tested as having a wheat senstivty or a wheat intorence and yougurt but no mention of milk yet to cottage cheese but once again no mention of milk i find how can you be allergic to cottage cheese and yougurt both diary products but not to milk making me think the test results are not true again?? please bear in mind i am not sure yet if these are intorence or allergys that i was tested for as i am still awaiting the results but while sitting there having the test i was told i was to these things from the bio merdian test but have not been able to go over them as i have not recieved the results in writing ::

Also can someone be allergic to wheat and not gluten ??? i thought all wheat products are gluten and if you have gluten intorence are you coeliac disease??? as i understand gluten intorence and coeliac disease is the same thing ?? Meaning gluten is destroying you gut lining so does this make it the same thing please help me out ??? is this right???

My question is of this IS THE BIO MERDIAN A ACCURATE WAY OF TESTING AS I NOT SURE AS TO BELIEVE THE TEST RESULTS IT PRODUCES WHAT ARE YOUR THERIOES ON THIS PLEASE GUYS???

well reluctly i am following the advice from the result of the bio merdian test and staying off wheat BUT I AM REALLY WORRIED THAT I AM BIENG MISLEAD BY THE PRACTIONER AS I AM REALLY NOT SURE IF THE BIO MERIDIAN MACHINE IS ACCURATE OR RIGHT AT ALL??? BUT THE PRACTIONER IS SWEARING BY THE RESULTS AND HAS EVEN SAID THAT HE HAD CURED HIM WHEN ALL OTHER RESULTS FAILED TO PICK UP ON HIS ILLNESSES PLEASE HELP I NEED ADVICE GUYS

I DONT EVEN KNOW IF I SHOULD EVEN BE ON A GLUTEN FREE DIET OR A WHEAT FREE DIET? CAN I OR SHOULD I BELIVE THESE RESULTS???? I WAS TOLD IT IS HARMFULL TO BE ON A WHEATFREE OR GLUTEN FREE DIET BY GLUTEN ADVICE LINE IF I DID NOT NEED TO BE ON ONE THIS IS WHY I AM WORRIED BUT AGAIN GOING BY THE BIO MERDIAN TEST RESULTS AND THE PRACTIONER ADVICE

ALSO GUYS CAN YOU RECOMEND THE BEST WAY TO GET TESTED FOR FOOD INTORENCE AND THE BEST WAY TO GET TESTED FOR FOOD ALLERGIES I HAVE HEARD METION OF ENTEROLAB A MILLION TIMES ON HERE IM AM TALKING ABOUT THE FULL G PANEL ALL INCLUSIVE TEST I THINK IT COSTS $369 OR SO BUT AFTER SPEAKING TO A DIETICIAN TODAY ON THE PHONE HE HAS TOLD ME THAT THE STOOL TEST WILL NOT PICK UP ON INTORENCES WHICH HAS GOT ME MORE WORRIED AND CONFUSED HE HAS SAID THE BEST WAY IS NOTE DOWN IN A DIARY FOODS THEN ELIMATE AND RE -INTRODUCE NOW THIS HAS LEFT ME REALLY CONFUSED AS ENTEROLAB STATE THAT THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TESTED FOR INTORENCES BUT THE DIETICIAN HAS PUT DOUBT IN MY MIND???

HOW WOULD THE DIETICIAN IN THE FIRST PLACE KNOW WHAT TO CUT OUT I ASKED HIM IF NO TESTS WERE RELIABLE HE THEN REPLYED THAT IT IS A LENGTHY PROCESS WHICH INVOLVES TAKING ONE FOOD OUT THE DIET AT A TIME THEN SEEING HOW SOMEONE FEELS THAT WHY IT IS A LENGTHY PROCESS?

I AM NOW REALLY CONFUSED AS ALL I WANT TO DO IS MAKE SURE IF I AM REALLY INTOLORENT OR ALLERGIC OR SENASTIVE TO THE FOODS AND IF THE BIO MERDIAN TEST RESULTS ARE INFACT TRUE OR A LIE BUT WHAT TESTS TO GET IF ALL TEST ARE NOT ACCURTE LIKE THE DIETICIAN HAS SAID ITS DRIVING ME A BIT MAD ALL THIS CONFUSION BY TESTS I MEAN ALLERGY AND INTORENCE AND FOOD SENATIVITES TESTS WHICH TESTS HAVE BEEN THE BEST FOR YOU PERSONALY GUS AND THE MOST RELAIBLE??? PLEASE BE AS TRUTHFULL AS POSSIBLE AND ANY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES PLEASE DO SAY

Welcome aboard!

I know nothing about bio meridians--sorry!

But you CAN be diagnosed with wheat or gluten intolerance via a combo of symptoms and relief from those symptoms when on a gluten-free diet or a wheat-free diet, depending on whether your symptoms are caused by gluten (the protein in wheat AND in rye and barley) or just by wheat alone.

Why don't you tell us what kind of symptoms you've been experiencing that led your practitioner to suspect wheat in the first place? (Remembering, of course, that we are not doctors, and that this should not substitute for advice from your own doctor--this is just a way for you to gain knowledge, okay?)

Do note, that if celiac disease is a possibility for you, you might want to continue to eat wheat long enough to have a blood test, to see if you are producing antibodies to gluten.

Hi

I believed you are speaking of Naet or Bio-set when you mention Bio-Meridian. I have done this & use that method today as a means of releasing other allergrens from the body. I have always said that the practitioner must be excellent....

It appears you are not sure of the results so I would suggest you have the bloodwork done & go from there. If you have celiac, an autoimmune disease you must follow a gluten-free lifestyle strictly. There is no cure at this time --- only the diet.

Your practitioner can not make this curable. And if that is even suggested I would leave that practice. When I first started with alternative methods that was the first thing out of my practitioners mouth.... I can not cure or fix any autoimmune disorder.... I can help with allergies....

good luck

Please go to a regular M.D. for a dx. Complimentary medicine is that.....it complements traditional medical care. The term "alternative" medicine should be used when "traditional" has failed or is not satisfactory.

To use "alternative" such as Bio-Meridian in place of good medical care is dangerous. If you have Celiac, you need to know for sure.

I have practiced alternative medicine myself, I am a Dr. of Holistic Nutrition. But I would never consult with you until you have been to an M.D. first. And you bring your lab work along so I can see if you have clinical deficiencies.

GO TO AN M.D. and get a FULL CELIAC PANEL.

Then go to an allergist and see if you have an allergy to wheat.

After that, if you have CELIAC, you will need to be gluten-free for life. There is no cure. If you have wheat allergy, then you can go to your acupuncturist/chiropractor and try some alternative therapy.

CELIAC is a serious disease.

I just want to clarify two things that confused me for a while...

1) Wheat does have gluten. So do lots of other grains. You can have an allergy to wheat without having a gluten intolerance. Or you could have both. Allergies are IgE reactions. An allergist can do a skin test if you think you have problems with allergies (hives, breathing problems, etc... that occur within the first few minutes or hours after eating something you're allergic to). Blood tests are needed for food intolerances. A blood test is a VERY good place to start if you think you might have celiac disease. If you stop eating gluten before the blood test you'll never get an accurate result.

2) Dairy products have lactose and casein. Lactose is hard for a lot of people to digest (causes bloating and gas), but you can buy milk without lactose. Cheese and yogurt don't have much lactose, so even if you can't tolerate milk you might be able to eat those foods. Casein in the protein in daily products. If you have an allergy or intolerance to casein you can't have any dairy products. Casein is in ALL cow's milk products.

Do you know which part of milk can cause acne in some people, the casein or the lactose?

Mother of Jibril Enthusiast

If you're intolerant to cow's milk then casein is the culprit. The reaction damages your intestines and reduces your abilty to produce lactase (the enzyme needed to digest lactose)... so it's a double whammy! When you're lactose intolerant... which is MUCH more common... your body isn't producing enough lactase, but that's typical when you're past the age of breastfeeding.

I have read a few things indicating that acne is connected to casein intolerance. I had a pretty severe case of acne as a teenager... and I was drinking a LOT of milk since I grew up in Wisconsin. In fact, my acne never completely went away. It just turned into adult acne! The good news is that it has been getting better on the dairy-free, gluten-free diet :)

Wish I knew this stuff as a teenager <_<

Your post demonstrates the profound frustration and isolation that so many in the Celiac community feel, and I want to thank you for channeling that experience into advocacy. The medical gaslighting you endured for decades is an unacceptable and, sadly, a common story, and the fact that you now have to "school" your own GI specialist speaks volumes about the critical lack of consistent and updated education. Your idea to make Celiac Disease a reportable condition to public health authorities is a compelling and strategic one. This single action would force the system to formally acknowledge the prevalence and seriousness of the disease, creating a concrete dataset that could drive better research funding, shape medical school curricula, and validate the patient experience in a way that individual stories alone often cannot. It is an uphill battle, but contacting representatives, as you have done with Adam Gray, is exactly how change begins. By framing it as a public health necessity—a matter of patient safety and protection from misdiagnosis and neglect—you are building a powerful case. Your voice and your perseverance, forged through thirty years of struggle, are exactly what this community needs to ensure that no one else has to fight so hard just to be believed and properly cared for.

I had no idea there is a "Louisville" in Colorado!😉 I thought it was a typo because I always think of the Kentucky city--but good luck!

Navigating medication safety with Celiac disease can be incredibly stressful, especially when dealing with asthma and severe allergies on top of it. While I don't have personal experience with the HealthA2Z brand of cetirizine, your caution is absolutely warranted. The inactive ingredients in pills, known as excipients, are often where gluten can be hidden, and since the FDA does not require gluten-free labeling for prescription or over-the-counter drugs, the manufacturer's word is essential. The fact that you cannot get a clear answer from Allegiant Health is a significant red flag; a company that is confident its product is gluten-free will typically have a customer service protocol to answer that exact question. In situations like this, the safest course of action is to consider this product "guilty until proven innocent" and avoid it. A better alternative would be to ask your pharmacist or doctor to help you identify a major national brand of cetirizine (like Zyrtec) whose manufacturer has a verified, publicly stated gluten-free policy for that specific medication. It's not worth the risk to your health when reliable, verifiable options are almost certainly available to you. You can search this site for USA prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance" and click it, and then look at "Inactive Ingredients," as any gluten ingredients would likely appear there, rather than in the Active Ingredients area. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/

What you're describing is indeed familiar to many in the Celiac community, especially in the early stages of healing. When the intestinal villi are damaged from Celiac disease, they struggle to properly digest and absorb fats, a condition known as bile acid malabsorption. This can cause exactly the kind of cramping and spasms you're seeing, as undigested fats can irritate the sensitive gut lining. It is highly plausible that her reactions to dairy and eggs are linked to their higher fat content rather than the proteins, especially since she tolerates lean chicken breast. The great news is that for many, this does improve with time. As her gut continues to heal on a strict gluten-free diet, her ability to produce the necessary enzymes and bile to break down fats should gradually return, allowing her to slowly tolerate a wider variety of foods. It's a slow process of healing, but your careful approach of focusing on low-fat, nutrient-dense foods like seeds and avocado is providing her system the best possible environment to recover. Many people with celiac disease, especially those who are in the 0-2 year range of their recovery, have additional food intolerance issues which could be temporary. To figure this out you may need to keep a food diary and do an elimination diet over a few months. Some common food intolerance issues are dairy/casein, eggs, corn, oats, and soy. The good news is that after your gut heals (for most people who are 100% gluten-free this will take several months to two years) you may be able to slowly add some these items back into your diet after the damaged villi heal. This article may be helpful: Thank you for sharing your story—it's a valuable insight for other parents navigating similar challenges.

I had a very rough month after diagnosis. No exaggeration, lost so much inflammatory weight, I looked like a bag of bones, underneath i had been literally starving to death. I did start feeling noticeably better after a month of very strict control of my kitchen and home. What are you eating for breakfast and lunch? I ignored my doc and ate oats, yes they were gluten free, but some brands are at the higher end of gluten free. Lots of celics can eat Bob's Red Mill gluten-free oats, but not me. I can now eat them, but they have to be grown and processed according to the "purity protocol" methods. I mail order them, Montana Gluten-Free brand. A food and symptoms and activities log can be helpful in tracking down issues. You might be totally aware, but I have to mention about the risk of airborne gluten. As the doc that diagnosed me warned . . Remember eyes, ears, nose, and mouth all lead to your stomach and intestines.  Are you getting any cross contamination? Airborne gluten? Any pets eating gluten (they eat it, lick themselves, you pet them...)? Any house remodeling? We live in an older home, always fixing something. I've gotten glutened from the dust from cutting into plaster walls, possibly also plywood (glues). The suggestions by many here on vitamin supplements also really helped me. I had some lingering allergies and asthma, which are now 99% gone. I was taking Albuterol inhaler every hour just to breathe, but thiamine in form of benfotiamine kicked that down to 1-2 times a day within a few days of starting it. Also, since cutting out inflammatory seed oils (canola, sunflower, grapeseed, etc) and cooking with real olive oil, avocado oil, ghee, and coconut oil, I have noticed even greater improvement overall and haven't used the inhaler in months! It takes time to weed out everything in your life that contains gluten, and it takes awhile to heal and rebuild your health. At first it's mentally exhausting, overwhelming, even obsessive, but it gets better and second nature.
