Cottonseed Oil

I'm not quite sure why it bothers me so much, I think it is because it is so highly processed.

Some consumers are wary of cottonseed oil because cotton crops are one of the most chemically-intensive crops grown in the U.S. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency‎ regulates pesticide content of cottonseed oil and in 1995, at the request of Hoechst-Roussel Agri-Vet, eased some restrictions[2] Many chemicals approved for use on cotton are not approved for use on food-based crops. Cotton field leftovers, or gin trash, is frequently fed to cattle.

Is anyone else bothered by it and/or Canola oil? I know that is highly processed as well, but I do not think it is as bad as cottonseed oil.
