Desensitized To Pain And Symptoms

Do you all ever feel like we are desensitized to pain and symptoms now? Not to the point of us not feeling any of course, but what other people consider BAD for them is just like, every day for us? lol

I was sitting around yesterday and my brother comes around. He has like the flu or something and says he's really sick. I ask him about his symptoms and I tell him all of his symptoms I deal with like every day for 3 years now. I just kinda stopped complaining about it unless it's really bad. Which for him would be like death bad. I don't know if this is good or not though.

Flu has been going around here too. It's kind of mild but I have heard some complaining. I said to dh, "Welcome to my world!"

      Shingles - Could It Be Related to Gluten/ Celiac

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oh my......will the danger never end? It has seemed like no matter what we do or have done the odds were/are against us. Next they'll tell us that just looking at wheat will be dangerous. Oh well....hang in there.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute.
