Whole foods finally came out with their gluten free granola w/ certified gluten-free Oats. I haven't tried it yet but it looks amazing. I have missed granola so much and can't wait to have a nice bowl. I'll update this tomorrow and let you know how it is. Just thought I'd spread the word.

p.s. I found it in the cereal aisle.

It's made by Whole Foods' Bakehouse, it's just called Fruit and Nut Granola. It has Gluten free written across it in big brown letters.

I tried it this morning, OMG! :o

It was so good, nice and sweet with good crunch. Although I do feel it was slightly lacking in the oats, might have just been the batch I got.

My Whole Foods had samples out on their "Gluten Free Day," yet didn't have any to sell. Can you believe that? It was great though!

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute.
