I asked for the gluten-free menu and (after they scrambled to find the file on the computer to print out a new copy) I read through paragraph after paragraph of warnings that I assumed would already be there so no biggy. Then I spotted the Citrus Salmon and asked that it be wrapped in tinfoil and cooked on the grill that way (because in the pamphlete the grill is stated to have particle of other breaded/sauced/spiced products containing gluten). The Citrus Salmon came to me with lemon slices, fruit and salad with no oils/dressings/sauces/etc. It was delicious!

One note, they do not list that soy sauce is wheat based and claimed on the papers that it was "eatable" by gluten-free people. Beware, soy sauce is fermented from wheat ususally, unless it is certified Gluten free.

Ask for lemon slices, plain salad with fruit and water with lemon in it.

DELICIOUS :D No reactions, loved it, and my cousin and I caught up on life in general.

Vitamin D status in the UK is even worse than the US.  vitamin D is essential for fighting bone loss and dental health and resistance to infection.  Mental health and depression can also be affected by vitamin D deficiency.  Perhaps low D is the reason that some suffer from multiple autoimmune diseases.  In studies, low D is a factor in almost all of the autoimmune diseases that it has been studied in. Even while searching for your diagnosis, testing your 25(OH)D status and improving it my help your general wellness. Vitamin D Deficiency Affects 60% in Britain: How to Fix It?

I have osteopenia and have cracked three vertebrae.  Niacin is connected to osteoporosis! Do talk to your nutritionist and doctor about supplementing with B vitamins.  Blood tests don't reveal the amount of vitamins stored inside cells.  The blood is a transportation system and can reflect vitamins absorbed from food eaten in the previous twenty-four to forty-eight hours.  Those "normal limits" are based on minimum amounts required to prevent disease, not levels for optimal health.   Keep us posted on your progress.   B Vitamins: Functions and Uses in Medicine https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9662251/ Association of dietary niacin intake with osteoporosis in the postmenopausal women in the US: NHANES 2007–2018 https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11835798/ Clinical trial: B vitamins improve health in patients with coeliac disease living on a gluten-free diet https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19154566/   Nutritional Imbalances in Adult Celiac Patients Following a Gluten-Free Diet https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8398893/ Nutritional Consequences of Celiac Disease and Gluten-Free Diet https://www.mdpi.com/2036-7422/15/4/61 Simplifying the B Complex: How Vitamins B6 and B9 Modulate One Carbon Metabolism in Cancer and Beyond https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9609401/
