I have read that sometimes meat and poultry contain these ingredients. Why? and how do i know when i am buying these titems that the offenders are not present? I ate at KFC and got sick. I ordered grilled chicken which has wheat and chicken. Is store bought meats ok? I have been eating it without issues but i am reading more posts here that people got sick from eating meat etc that had the offender present and didnt know it.

With the fresh meats there is only an issue if there is a broth added to the meat. Chicken and turkey are the ones that this is found in as a broth added is not uncommon although it is more common in the ones that are frozen. If broth is added they have to say it is there but if the broth contains barley malt as a flavoring agent it is not required to be listed.

With any meats that are processed it is a good idea to check to be sure if you see the words 'natural flavors' on the package.

KFC anything in my experience is not safe and I would avoid them.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
