Hello, I was just wondering about these foods. I love them all, and I have several bags of them here at my hound, and my family is devouring them. I want to partake in the devouring. Is this wise, do any of these contain Gluten? Especially peanut-butter M&Ms.....I love PB M&Ms.....

You're good to go on the Nerds and Tootsie Rolls. And if you call Wonka they will send you a list of all their gluten-free candy PLUS a coupon. Can't beat that! I've tried even seen PB M&Ms, so I can't comment on those, but the plain and peanut are eaten quite regularly around here!

to the best of my knowledge all M&M's are gluten free except the crispy ones!

Just an fyi - when I checked shortly before Halloween, Nerds and a few other Wonka candies were no longer on the gluten free list. Based on the ingredients, I'm not sure why since they look ok. I did see some bags that had a made in same facility as wheat statement, but other bags didn't. Maybe that's why?

I just called Wonka...Nerds Ropes are still gluten free. Regular crunchy Nerds are still gluten free on their ingredients, but they are made in a facility where cross contamination is a possibility. The rep I spoke with said if you do not see an allergen on the label and do not see a note about the facility then they are considered gluten free. She said they will always list on the package if there is a possibility for cross contact.

      Yarrow Pom works really well with the skin issues I found out.I had to stop so my doterra because dealing with medical celiac circus. I had shingles in Feb 2023. Prayers for healing

      More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.

      I hope you are on the mend soon. About 1 in 5 people who contracted chicken pox as a child go on to develop shingles in later life - it is not uncommon. There are 5 known members of the herpes virus family including chicken pox that commonly infect humans, and they all cause lifelong infections. The exact cause of viral reactivation as in the case of shingles or cold sores is not well understood, but stress, sunburn and radiotherapy treatment are known triggers. Some of the herpes viruses are implicated in triggering autoimmune diseases: Epstein-Barr virus is suspected of triggering multiple sclerosis and lupus, and there is a case where it is suspected of triggering coeliac disease. As to whether coeliac disease can increase the likelihood of viral reactivation, there have been several cohort studies including a large one in Sweden suggesting that coeliac disease is associated with a moderate increase in the likelihood of developing shingles in people over the age of 50.       BFree bread is fortified with vitamins and minerals as is ASDA own-brand gluten-free bread. All the M&S bread seems to be fortified also.
