Dumdum Lollipops?

On Sunday my son got somthing that had gluten in it. Talking with the Sunday school teacher about it she said he had his gluten-free rice crackers, His Kroger apple juice and a Dumdum lollipop. I can not seem to find anything usefull on the dumdum site, does anyone know if they are gluten-free?

I personaly suspect he somehow got in to thier playdough or somthing along those lines,. His teacher is a diabetic so she understands food restrictions and I doubt she slipped him anything.

The only unknow food was the Dumdum's so I figure I better check... just can not seem to find anything worth mentioning on thier site.

my daughter has dumdums with no problems. I found out they were gluten-free off of a list for Halloween candy that would be safe.

Now, if they played with playdough, that most def. could be the culprit. Even if he just touched a table or toy that the playdough had been on, and he then put his fingers in his mouth, or something along those lines. My daughter breaks out in a terrible rash when she is exposed to playdough so I have had to provide her classroom at school with gluten-free dough that I made and I also provided it to her sunday school class. They got rid of the non gluten-free play dough and made sure all of the toys were washed thoroughly.

I made some gluten-free playdough for them, from a recipe some one here gave me (forget already, sorrY!), and just gave it to them this week, but suspect we will have to clean the toys there, planning to voleenteer to do that next weekend.

Dum dums are indeed gluten-free.

I eat dumdums whenever we have science tests instead of donughts. Much better choice anyway becasue I get 10 dum dums for every donught people get

did you ever try dum dums again or have trouble?? I am suspicious of them with my son. i was wondering if the "stick" coudl posssibly contin gluten????

I do not have celiac disease, but my son does. DumDums do not bother him. Stick is paper, and paper is not made from wheat as I recall its made from wood.
