Another "is This Dh?"

Hi everyone,

Fortunately, I don't have the rash now. Unfortunately, I have to rely on my memory.

It was about two years ago that a rash on my left lower back first showed up. The area effected was about the size of a fist. It started out as a lot of small itchy bumps without any discoloration. Of course, I made it red by scratching it ( my skin loves to turn red at the lightest scratch anyway ). It was at least a few days from onset, that I noticed after itching it the whole rash became wet. I never saw a blister, but somehow scratching it released something that was watery without any color. Mind you, the rash is on my back so I never really got a good look at it. I remember it was painful at this point, but nothing unbearable. More of an annoyance. Within a couple days the bumps had crusted over with red scabs. There was never any bleeding. Then the scabs would heal. There was no scaring that I was aware of and I can't remember how long it took to heal.

This process must have repeated at least four times over the next year in the same spot on my lower back. I had put hydro cortisone cream on it a couple times, and I remember thinking it helped. I really only used it twice when the itching was at its worst.

I can't remember having the rash in the past year. Since I've only been gluten free the past four months, the rash seemed to resolve on its own.

So, is this DH?

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
