Has anyone tried any of their buckwheat products? I'm looking for replacement products for my current ones.

Check out the recipes also. There are some really good looking ones!

I am lucky enough to live a few miles from them. They are my choice for buckwheat products. I buy their Pocono line. I even use their buckwheat hulls in pillows and as a mulch around my trees and flower bed. Absolutely no CC risk with them and good products.

Well, I was going to place an order until I saw how much they charged for shipping! :o It doesn't seem to matter if you have a big or small order they charge the same flat shipping of $19.95 and $7.00 handling ($26.95 total), OUCH. I was looking on another site to order organic/gluten free for other flours and I had a total weight of 11+ lbs and over $60.00 worth of items and shipping was $14 and change. I don't mind paying a little more for a better product, and expect reasonable shipping charges, but that seems excessive to me.

You should be able to find it in some of your local stores. It could be in your health or organic food section or in some places in with the cereals. You could try calling around to some places or calling the company directly to see what stores in your area might carry it. If you can't find it locally give me a PM and perhaps I could pick some up and ship it to you. Priority mail flat rate shipping isn't cheap but it should be less than that and a med size box would hold a few boxes of the Kasha or Cream of Buckwheat.

I have found the cream of buckwheat in some stores locally but I don't have any interest it that. I did ask two of the places if they could order the flour and groats and they said no. I'm waiting to hear back from EarthFare to see if they can order. If I don't get anywhere I may take you up on that offer. I'll let you know.

You could grind the cream of buckwheat into flour yourself. You could use an inexpensive coffee grinder for that. That would at least give you the chance to find out if you react and how you like it before spending a lot of money on a mail order. Some really sensitives like me have problems with that, or it could have been an intolerance, but seemed to improve when I washed the stuff. I think that there are some cc issues in the fields.

It never dawned on me to do that with the cream of buckwheat. Thanks for the tip! I bought a small bag of buckwheat groats by Eden Organic that I thought I could grind. I don't know though if my little coffee grinder will tolerate those. I don't know if the other products were a problem for sure or not, but I am trying anything right now.

My grinder, which was the cheapest they had at Walmart, did grind the groats. Hope it works for you.

      Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

      I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

      Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
