Looking for any tips on good gluten safe resturants.

Check out this post I made, detailing experiences I had in mainly non-chain restaurants. In-N-Out Burger and Burger King (and other chains with which you might be familiar) are of course also options. Please let me know if you have questions about any of the stuff from that post, but hopefully that will be helpful to you.

Thank you very much. I'm going to In-N-Out Burger for sure I ate there before I found out tha I had celical's and loved there burgers. I'm not staying on the strip but if I go down there I will take some of your suggestions with me. I'm Staying at the Aliante Station so I hope it goes over well. I looked at some of there resturants and they seemed to be some what safe.

This was only my first trip to Vegas and my first vacation with Celiac, so we stayed on the strip and did the big, tourist-friendly hotels. I found those the easiest to deal with because their whole motto is customer service. I personally find it easiest to eat at big, fancy restaurants or fast food chains. Some family restaurants are great because they want loyalty, too.

Craftsteak and Wolfgang Puck's restaurants at the MGM Grand were wonderful. At Craftsteak they had the spring tasting menu (we were there in spring 2010)the chef made virtually the whole menu gluten free so my daughter and the rest of us were able to enjoy a family style meal. It was expensive, but well worth it and absolutely delicious.

I need to admit two things before I elaborate more:

1) I am not a buffet fan

2) I am not a dessert fan (I usually have fresh fruit, cheese and chocolate instead)

But, I was staying at the Bellagio on business mid last year and a group of us voted to go to the Bellagio all-you-can-eat buffet for lunch. It seems like it was $14-$19 or so... I don't really remember.

But, they had SO many gluten-free salads on the bar and tons of meat and seafood selections without sauces (pork, prime rib, shrimp, crab, oysters, mussels, chicken, turkey).

Finally, they had a HUGE dessert section with a number of desserts that were labeled gluten free. It probably was one of THE nicest array of food that I have ever seen in a buffet.

The second recommendation that doesn't ever even hit the radar is "Bally's" on the strip. Check out their weekend brunches as well. Top notch.

Good luck (literally and figuratively)

But M&M's contain milk, and would not be at all like a Tootsie Roll.

I appreciate you validating me because medical is an issue and it's not ok at all they they do this. Some days I just want to call the news media and just call out these doctors especially when they are supposed to be specialist Downplaying when gluten-free when they should know gluten-free is false negative. Now dealing with other issues and still crickets for disability because I show no signs of celiac BECAUSE IM GLUTENFREE! Actively dealing with sibo and skin issues.Depression is the key because thats all they know, im depressed because medical has caused it because of my celiac and related issues. I should have never ever been employed as a bus driver. After 3 years still healing and ZERO income desperately trying to get better but no careteam for celiac other than stay away frim wheat! Now im having care because my head is affected either ms or meningioma in go in tomorrow again for more scans.I know im slowly dying and im looking like a disability chaser

M&M Peanuts. About the same calories and sugar while M&M Peanuts have fiber, potassium, iron and protein that Tootsie Rolls ("We are currently producing more than 50 million Tootsie Rolls each day.") don't. Click the links to compare nutritional values.  Both are made with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup.  I use them as a gluten free substitute for a peanut butter sandwich.  Try her on grass fed, pasture fed milk. While I get heartburn at night from commercial dairy milk, I do not from 'grassmilk'.

I see it everyday on my feeds.  They go out and buy gluten-free processed products and wonder why they can't heal their guts.  I don't think they take it as a serious immune disease. They pick up things off the internet which is so far out in left field.  Some days I would just like to scream.  So much better when we had support groups and being able to teach them properly. I just had an EMA blood test because I haven't had one since my Doctor moved away.  Got test results today, doctor ordered a D3 vitamin test.  Now you know what  type of doctors we have.  Now I will have to pay for this test because she just tested my D3 end of December, and still have no idea about my EMA.
