I'd say it depends on your individual level of sensitivity. Sometimes it's just a "cover your ass" label that doesn't mean much. I did react to a bag of macadamia nuts with the "may contain traces" warning recently. I was eating "may contain traces" Harry and David truffles over Christmas with no problems. It's just never very predictable with that label. I tend to steer clear as much as I can.

I would look for a different brand of salt and spices. I just checked my spice rack and I have five different mainstream brands of herbs and spices and none have warnings about the wheat.
