I'm Vacationing & Need Help!

So I am finally done with school for the summer semester and I get a month break. I am leaving this Friday to go stay with my boyfriend for 3 weeks. I have been getting my gluten-free foods at Wegman's here at home, because they have a big natural foods section and carry a lot of gluten-free products. But where he lives, they only have a Tops store. Does anyone know if Tops carries much in the way of gluten-free foods?

Also, we are taking a trip to Niagara Falls and staying there for a couple days. Does anyone know if there are any places around there that have gluten-free food?? I'm afraid our nice, romantic getaway will turn into complete aggravation by trying to find food I can eat!! I am so tired of having to order just a salad or something like that when I go out and having to bring my own food everywhere!!

Another question, which is somewhat odd - we are also going to the Fair in his hometown. Does anyone know if Cotton Candy has gluten in it???

I can't help with the other questions, but cotton candy does not have gluten.

He lives near Buffalo, NY in a small town called Dunkirk, and we will be on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.

Thanks for the info about the cotton candy! I LOVE that stuff!!!

hey shortstuff--

i would ck out this website--it is the buffalo area support group. they have a list of restaurants in the area, and give contact info too--so if you would want to ask more questions, i'm sure they'd be helpful.

      Blood Test for Celiac wheat type matters?

      I'm not saying that some celiacs won't need it, but it should be done under a doctor's supervision because it can cause lots of problems in some people.

      Airborne Gluten?

      I also noticed I get debilitating migraines when I smell gluten, wheat and its not taken seriously when it affects one in every way.Im still begging to properly be heard.I also noticed tolerance level is down the drain with age and life changes. I have been told by incompetent medical that im not celiac or that sensitive. Diagnosed in 1994 by gi biopsy gluten...

Any ways it amps me up not able to sleep, though very tired.However I did notice it helped with my bloating sibo belly.I hate that my body is that sensitive and medical doesn't seem to take seriously. Im STILL healing with my skin, eye, and now ms or meningioma ( will know in April  which)and dealing with this limbo nightmare. I did write my name, address ect on the reclamation but im not tech savvy and not sure if went through properly. I called my city representative in Stanislaus County and asked if theres a physical paper i can sign for proclamation for celiac and she had no clue about what I was saying, so I just said I'll go back on website.
