How So Is The Urge To Go Potty Increase When Near The Toilet?

I have been wondering why I can just about no longer hold my diarrhea in when I reach the bathroom. I know this was not before I had celiac disease symptoms. It happens all the time just about. Has anyone else noticed this?

I feel out of control to hold back the tide!

I had uncontrolled D until I went gluten-free. I couldn't even make it to a bathroom fast enough sometimes.

Are you totally gluten free? Have you tossed out old scratched non-stick pans and plastic/wooden utensils? I can't do the subject of cross-contamination justice, but if you use the search engine on this forum, you'll find a wealth of information. The other thing I'd look into is secondary food intolerances, like soy, dairy, glucose, nightshade vegetables, legumes.

Have you cleaned out your refrigerator and silverware drawer? (Buy a new plastic thing to separate your utensils, get a new toaster or forget about toast for awhile. Concentrate on eating whole foods like meat, poultry, fish, all vegetables, especially root veggies and some fruit. If you grill and have a grill you used to toast buns on, I'm convinced you can't get the gluten out of the grill. You'll need to grill on foil or buy a new grill.

If you have celiac disease and have been gluten-free for 4 weeks you shouldn't have D anymore. I hope you figure out what's bugging you.

You may need to pack your lunch and not eat out for awhile. Good luck. You can find the answers her that doctors don't tell you.

Thanks. All things considered I still cant figure out, ok this is gross, but what I was saying is that I can hold it in driving in the car for example, BUT as I turn up the driveway and know that I will be able to relieve myself, the ability to hold it in collapses

into a mess in my pants. Not all the time but sometimes that happens. If I make it to the bathroom with tightly squeezed cheeks, I can barely wait to sit on the toilet to let it go into the the water.

I am just wondering why this happens. It is so unpleasant and absolutely embarrassing and a big clean up mess for me.

OK as said GROSS OUT.

Not really the same but that's like me when I have to wee :(

I walk into the hallway then sometimes can't make it to the loo :(

I'm not sure but I think it's our brain that tells our system we're close so it's ok now :/

Do you or anyone know alot about ibuprofen  I wasn't sure if I was eating too much apple sauce.   Something is making my pain so much worse  I'm referring to the intense pins and needles in my feet and lower legs.  Jaw actually has tardive dystonia and muscle spasms throughout my back Almost like an opposite effect that a pain reliever would do. I'm fairly new to this. Whatever is going on seems to be worsening  Do people get a withdrawal effect from gluten?  It's extremely painful 😖  I'll post that question or research on the site  Thank you everyone for responding

I think I found a huge culprit for severe reactions to create worsening of my c symptoms. Do people with celiac have sensitivity and /or have opposite reaction to certain medications Where can I find a list ?  I'm new here I'm.wondering why I am getting worse when I take certain medicine...the burning feet.  Rebound muscle pain so intense  How many people get opposite effects or have a horrible attack after these meds

Does anyone know if that includes scrambled eggs and healthy smart butter (,gluten free) I add a very tiny amount of margarine less than a teaspoon.  I did no't have any bread    It just seems like no matter what I eat my stomach and nerves over fire and here comes a host of horrible symptoms. My lower abdomen feels horrible, my right leg thigh muscle.. very odd. Jaw pain. Burning feet , joint pain , you name it  The anxiety just creeps up into brain fog. I don't think I could explain this to anyone who is unfamiliar.  Also,  I most likely will not remember posting this until I check it.  This is highly unusual for me because I have an excellent memory.  One weekend before I knew anything about celiac I lost an entire weekend from severe brain fog, confusion, pain, etc.  I honestly thought I was losing my mind. When I think back I recall eating a lot of PBJ sandwiches and turkey sandwiches.  Once again did not know about gluten.  I was just too sick to cook. Do people fast during attacks ?? It seems horrible to keep going through this. I hope I'm not causing my own problems... I wonder if I should fast because I'm not eating gluten .  Chicken ,  scrambled eggs no milk , canned carrots,  gluten free low sugar low fat Greek yogurt which I already posted about 😞 Any suggestions I am open... I am bedridden when this happens to me.  Thank you Celiac community. 🙏🏻❤️

Yeah, that sounds super familiar. When inflammation levels are high — especially at the start of changing your diet — the body often develops a fructose and lactose intolerance. Unfortunately, the only thing that really helps is cutting out anything that isn’t lactose-free or that contains sugar. So basically, stick to meat, veggies, fish…
