Very interesting, indeed.

I've also been considering the "gut health" issue, and have been considering supplements to address that issue specifically.

That said, I am someone who HATES taking pills/supplements so that's saying a lot.

I also am someone who hates pills. Anyone know what kind of allergy test she had done? My insurance runs out in about 6 days and would love to have a panel ran. Also- in the us- will they test for vitamin deficiencies if you ask? I know vitamin D is low for me, but I'd love to know what else

We really need better Drs in my area.....

I'm not a pill person either but I'm going through the Helobactor Pylori treatment uggh I will be glad when thats finished!

I think it was very fortunate that the person found such a great doctor, I know myself when my digestive system is happy so is the rest of my body!

Interesting. While it takes a different approach, (diet to restore gut health rather than just supplementation or elimination of IgG indicated foods) the basic concept of gut inflammation causing poor absorption, food reactions, and mental health issues is all covered in the GAPS book as well.

It sounds like you have a very reasonable GI doctor, who diagnosed you based on family history and symptoms after eating gluten. I would consider you lucky! The other option would be to make yourself very sick by doing weeks of a gluten challenge prior to an endoscopy.

Hi Colleen H,   I suffered with the pins and needles/burning feeling in my legs and feet for at least  6 years until my Nephrologist figured out that I had to go on a low salt diet.  He said my kidneys weren't strong enough to remove the salt.  The simple fix was a diuretic, but that med leaves the uric acid behind, so that wasn't an option.  On the bright side the low salt diet lowered my BP over 20 points and and the pins and needles/burning feeling went away.  Good Luck and hope this helps.

Yes this is very frustrating for me ... not sure what to think.  Feels like I'm having reactions to a lot of things  Now applesauce?? I don't understand 😞

I did ... But aren't we going to be vitamin deficienct if we are not eating due to being sick ?? If the food we eat is gluten free and we have other sensitivities , how do we get out of the cycle??  Thank you

Anyone else get pins and needles. ??? Burning feeling ? Heat makes it so much worse 😔  Winter is here.  I had to lower my thermostat because I couldn't take that hot air feeling 😔  Hopefully it goes away soon
