well it 's actually no different than ordering a chargrillled breast with no bun & an order of waffle fries which is what I've been doing for the past 6 mths. Well I guess packaging it as a gluten-free kids meal brings more attention.

true but your order doesn't come with a toy! LOL (Which is very important apparently to my kids!) So their fries are gluten free too? I am new to this and thought since they offered fruit that gluten might be in the fries! Awesome if they are gluten free too.

So the ChickFilA fries are in a dedicated fryer? I didn't know that!!!!

I'm not sure if ALL locations have a dedicated fryer for fries, so it would probably be a good idea to check with your location, but the ones I have gone to certainly have. Theirs are actually the only fast food fries I have eaten since going gluten-free -- never any problems.

And yes, that discovery WAS exciting! :D

Just so you know, the fries are deep fried, and the breaded chicken is cooked in a pressure cooker, so there is no cross contamination. It is like that at all ChickFilA. Just so you know, I always ask them to cook fresh fries, and change their gloves, and they are always happy to do so!

They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

@JettaGirl, "Coeliac" is the British spelling of "celiac". Same disease.

This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
