Accidental Glutening.. Now How Far Set Back Am I?

I had been gluten free for 2 months and really started to feel pretty good, but then tonight I accidentally ate a pizza that I thought was Gluten free but was not. Now I'm worried that all my progress/healing over the last 2 months will be for nothing. Will this incodent set me back 2 months, or will it just be a minor roadblock on the road to recovery? I'm hoping that I just get a little sick for a few days, then go back to feeling how I felt just before I ate the pizza. Or will I go back to feeling how I felt 2 months ago right before I started gluten free?

Everyone is different when it comes to symptoms. In the begining a glutening could and would set me back a couple of months, now it is only a few days to get back to feeling good again. I have been gluten-free 2 years. Some people are more snesitive than others and react more strongly. Try not to kick yourself for your mistake and keep going forward!

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
