Need Support Group In Miami

Help! My 7 year old son was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and I can't seem to get any reliable information. His gastroenterologist doesn't know anything about the gluten-free diet, and we can't get in to see the nutritionist for another 2 months. I heard the best thing to do was find a support group. I can't seem to find one in the Miami area, hard as I look. In the meantime, my poor baby looks like he's starving. Three weeks into the gluten-free diet he's still complaining of stomach pain. I need to know what products I can really trust to be gluten-free. Any info would be so appreciated.

it would be amazing to me if there wasn't a group in miami too! i searched around and couldn't find one though. these links below list others in florida--maybe you could go to another close by at least once for help...then try and start a group locally--put in add in the paper, contact other group leaders etc. ? Ck out the first link though--it has a group in N Miami Beach.

Ms. Sillyak Screwed has a support group that meets in Pompano Beach, FL (about 1 hour north of Miami). It meets at a luthern church. They have a site I think it's like southfloridaceliacs or something. Maybe you can google it or look Ms Sillyak Screwed on here.
