Hi Everyone,

I have been diagnosed Celiac disease recently. I have been on Gluten free diet for a week now. When i used to ate wheat, I never felt this much weakness. But now going Gluten free make me feel very weak. I feel tiredness all the day. I reside in India, so have no much choice than to depend upon rice and maize. twice a day i take rice and once maize chapati. can anyone plz help how to overcome the weakness.

I don't know much about Indian food but you need to eat more than twice a day. You need to eat more than just rice and corn. You need protein & fruit or vegetables. Can you eat meat, fish, dairy, beans, eggs?

You could be in a bit of a withdrawl, some people seem to get that... I did. I felt very poorly, tired and cranky for the first two weeks. That could be contributing to your weakness.

It could be lack of calories too. Perhaps a small handful of seeds or nuts about 3 hours after your last meal to help tide you over.

Good luck. :)

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
