(I guess this page isn't letting me type the name of the company I am asking about so it it ends up saying "Lame Advertisement" instead.) I am wanting to check myself for more sensitivities. I am doing much better since I stopped with Legumes, Casein and Gluten, but I seem to get sick sometimes not understanding why. I am super sensitive, it seems, to...

Sorry that is has taken so long for me to get back to this thread. I haven't been able to get online here. Anyways...Seems the lectin could be my problem. I am gonna look into Ursa Majors page. Thanks all of you! Sorry again that it took me so long to reply.

I think I remember reading here that some Celiacs don't seem to do well on any grains or even rice. I just can't remember why. I seem to be one of them. Does anyone know? Are there any theories?

I tried the Safflower oil with my popcorn and my stomach did seem to approve of it better than the Canola. Probably needs more tests to really know for sure.

ARCHIVED Daily Eating Habits

I don't eat bread often. I haven't been able to find a mix or bread that my stomach aproves of. I do miss it sometimes, but not as much as I thought I would. -
I have had it my whole life. It used to be on my face a little but now I am mostly just red there kinda. Very soft skin otherwise. But I have it on the back of my arms. I can't feel it much, never had a problem with itching. I read and was told cremes with AHA and BHA is good for it. You gotta keep that skin out of the sun though when you use that type...

I can get a low grade fever when I get glutened too.

I have given up on trying to do anything with my food at work. I make my stuff at home and then I bring it all in a cooler box. I bring my own fork and everything.

ARCHIVED Traveling To Alaska In Mid-may
Yenni replied to DebbieInCanada's topic in Traveling with Celiac Disease
We sent PM's back and forth but I remembered that there is an OutBack in town too. I have read here that some people here go there. They are supposedly having a gluten free meny. I don't go to restaurants myself. My system is too sensitive to take the chance. -
Okay, thanks! I am gonna try those and I'll report back.

I am gonna try "your" popcorn the next time. What brand of Safflower oil and organic popcorn do you use? I have been using regular popcorn, maybe I should do organic ones instead. I can't do without this place so I am not going anywhere.

Probably true. I have truobles with a lot of gluten free stuff if I eat a lot of it, like I mentioned, and this is probably that kind of thing. I seem to just have a really sensitive system since I got sick with Celiac. It has always been a little sensitive but not like it got 2003 when I got really bad. I seem to not do good on gluten free processed...

hello Jerseyangel! Nice to "see" you again. I haven't been on here much this spring. I finally started working again a bit. I haven't worked since I got really sick and now I feel much better in general...well so I haven't had time to be online here much. Yeah, I should just stick with simple. It just gets so boring sometimes. I have been having...

My stomach hurt bad last night and I get really, really nauseous. Diarrhea sometimes. I think Flax Seed has Omega 3 in it; maybe you can put that on something you eat to get some of that in you? Yeah, I have to watch out with oily stuff. Can't handle it well at all. So you are not alone. This is the worst reaction so far, but also the most amount of...

No he used my own Teflon pan. Never used any stuff that I am intolerant to in it. I do bad on a lot of gluten free stuff like rice, avocado, Quinoa...if I have more than just a little. Avocado isn't working at all and I assume that is the oil in it. I am guessing I just got too much oil in me and my stomach is hating me for it. I dunno.. I am very sensitive...

My husband fried some fish yesterday for me in A LOT of Canola Oil. I am not doing well on a lot of oil in general, but MAN did I get sick today. I ate the fish last night (fresh halibut) and I felt right away that it wasn't to my stomach's liking. My stomach ached during the evening and I have been very close to vomitting today several times. My stomach...

I dunno if anyone is interested but I went back to the doctor today and she didn't want me to eat/have any hormones at all. She said it is fine if I spot a little and stuff. I am happy with that. Oh and I wrote EnteroLab about Lactoce Monohydrate. There can be traces and if you react to them you should change medication. Some don't react to them and should... -
ARCHIVED Snacks

I'll probably order some online next week. I'll send off a little PM to you about that ice creme. I picked up some coconut and I found Enjoy Life's chocolate. (I had the cookies from before, not the chocolate pieces). I am gonna melt the chocolate and mix in coconut. Hopefully my stomach will aprove. I haven't had chocolate since forever! I can... -
ARCHIVED Safe Brand Of Brown Rice Flour
Yenni replied to Yenni's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Thank you everyone for your replies. I have tried some Bob's Mills stuff and somethimes it's been fine but a few times I felt sick after. Not a lot, so I am not sure. I saw other people saying that they reacted to them on here so I thought I'd try something else. I'll check all of your suggestions. Thanks again. -
ARCHIVED Safe Brand Of Brown Rice Flour
Yenni posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I am very sensitive when it comes to cross contamination. I don't trust Bob's Mill and I wanna find a Brown Rice Flour that is safe. Do you have a brand that you use that you trust and can recommend? Thanks! -
I get just as weird on Casein as on Gluten myself.

I can't have some of the stuff you mentioned (and not sure about popcorn yet. I have felt both ok and sick from eating them so far) but there were some pretty good suggestions here. Thanks! =D I'll have to print out this thread. -

ARCHIVED Snacks
Yenni replied to Yenni's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I can eat rice (at least brown) but the stuff I am intolerant to (gluten, dairy and legumes) I can handle not even traces of it seems. So most processed foods are out even if many are made gluten free. If there is gluten in the facility or been used on the same machine I can't eat it and feel well. Most of the time anyways. Makes me very limited. ...
