  8. THIS IS PRETTY FUNNY and this thread needed to be resurrected! In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth and populated the Earth with broccoli, cauliflower and spinach, green and yellow and red vegetables of all kinds, so Man and Woman would live long and healthy lives. Then using God's great gifts, Satan created Ben and Jerry...

ANYONE should be able to ask ANY question without feeling attacked. Many of us, myself included, came to tis board without a clue. I was told that celiac is really rare...
  10. Pizza Pizza Pizza! Why is it that all these good places (like In 'n Out Burger) are West of the Great Divide? Eliza- My friend's mom had Guillian barre Syndrome about ten years back. It was incredibly painful and I believe they thought she was going to die. She ended up recovering and ironically hydrotherapy was part of her PT. Lynne- You are...

  19. dukie- My God, what a scary and sad story about your daughter. I am SO glad you figured out what is going on and were able to change it with diet. My sister (we are not blood-related, both adopted) has a 3 year old that is having horrific rage attacks that keep getting longer and longer and longer. She was tested for celiac as a baby, but it came back...

  21. Hi Geoff- I didn't have those symptoms but many people have weird symptoms after going gluten-free. We think it may be detox? Hope someone else can help you here!
  22. I voted for #1 but it was a long hard road. I had bloodwork that was considered inconclusive, a negative biopsy, but a positive dietary response for the first year. It was confirmed by a new GI via genetic testing. So I have the genes and the positive dieatry response.
