    That is just bizarre- they are going to have a SERIOUS problem if someone is allergic (anaphylactic shock allergic) to gluten!

    Could be the amount of gluten- maybe it takes more to affect you than others. I ate a fudgsicle over the summer by accident (with malt powder) and I didn't have a reaction at first (a few years ago my reactions were almost immediate). Several days later- my old symptoms showed up but much less severe.

    Woodman's in Essex does this too! I didn't know Farnham's did. This is very good to know. I actually had a fried food fest last Friday with my dad at Woodman's. Gotta love gluten free options! I almost dropped dead when I found out I could have French fries and fried clams again!
