  1. Hi Ccherie- Welcome to the board! Right now is the toughest part- getting started. It only gets easier from here. Think of it this way- your body has been taking a beating from eating gluten and it is tired and malnourished. It needs rest and good, gluten-free food. It took me a long time to really *get* the diet down (I only ate peanut butter and anything...
  2. I just wanted to say welcome. This board is a great resource. You may also find Open Original Shared Link website helpful as well. It was designed for parents of children with autism but they have an active community that keeps an updated shopping and products guide. 7. I cannot tolerate codeine at all. They gave it to me after my wisdom teeth surgery and I was a nut bag......tried to leave the house in my underwear Many of them make me either out of it or depressed. The only one that works and does not make me that way is percocet. It took some trial and error to find it, but thank God I did as I have severe chronic...

Egads.I googled do chickens have sex with roosters and found out more than I EVER wanted to know about chicken sex. RSTD....ba ha ha  x 20 But what I REALLY want to know is do hens crave poutine? Is poutine gluten-free- the gravy part? What in the world are cheese CURDS- sounds gross!

  13. While some docs may be pompous and non-caring there doctors that actually want you to feel better. My doc (he's a Lyme specialist but an MD) did a simple blood test for candida (simple for me- just drew blood) and it came back negative but he gave me Nystatin anyway for 3 months. You could ask for the blood test and then you'll know. Also, constipation...

  15. This is true. I know in the past, when I first started gluten-free and wasn't completely healed, I reacted a lot to CC in products- maybe the Kame rice crackers. I know I *used* to react to them.

  18. What about the falafel? Falafel usually has flour in it (it SHOULD be chickpea flour but isn't always). I've had a hard time finding gluten-free falafel. That's so interesting about mangoes, regions they come from and poison oak. I am having similar symptoms right now but it came after (apparently) REALLY burning my mouth on tacos. The symptoms are...

These are a few of my favorite things...when the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling menstrual sad..........I simply remember me sniffles and poos and then I don't feel so bad My poor dad too (but only 2 girls) but he grew up with 5 older sisters and said he preferred women because he grew up learning how to deal with them ...

Am I in love with the Jonas Brothers...
  21. If the secretary doesn't help you out definitely go to the head of your program. As a former grad student, I know that there often shraed gatherings and while they are nice, I was rarely able to eat at them unless I brought my own (I usually brought my own with enough to share). JJC- I'm so sorry about your daughter getting so ill.......you may have...

  25. MEOW!!!!!!! Meow meow meow meow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this: In the northern India state of Haryana, men outnumber women -- which gives brides-to-be a lot of leverage in the husband-finding game. The guys are finding it tough to bag a wife as it is, but now there's a phrase being bandied about by future mothers-in-law that makes things even...
