  3. OK peeps I might be seriously behind the 8-ball here and you all know about this but for those who don't, Orgran's put out a FREE quarterly magazine called "Everyday Health" I came across it at my Weight Watcher's Club office ( and promptly photocopied half of it lol) I am guessing health food shops would have it but you can also subscribe (at no charge...
  4. Go with your gut ( lol) instinct. I've known for the last 12 months I've been gluten intolerant(did the challenge) but was always "Am I or aren't I" celiac some days it was just too hard I'd see people roll their eyes if I said I was gluten-intolerant . Bits of gluten snuck in here and there, eg I was taking iron tablets for my deficiency not realizing they...

  8. I was self-diagnosed for nearly 12 months until I had to have an endoscopy/colonoscopy for other reasons. Here is part of what I wrote elsewhere in the forum I come from a family riddled with auto-immune disease, although no-one has been diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. Going back 5 generations at least ( don't have any info for further back than that...
  9. Thanks....yes after sleeping on it so to speak have come to the conclusion it's silly to have a blood test done and go back on gluten thereby doing further damage if I didn't have it it wouldn't even be on the report ..............I'll change my siggie line. I am nearly 60 so it looks like there has been years of damage starting when I was 12
  10. Hello everyone I have a question about officially being diagnosed with celiac disease I come from a family riddled with auto-immune disease, although no-one has been diagnosed with celiac disease. Cat I am in a couple of American thyroid groups and I know some of the girls say it is cheaper to just buy their Armour without going through the insurance company, they just put their script in and get it filled.
