  1. Open Original Shared Link They are part of Newstarget.com How many prescriptions did you receive for your... condition (celiac) while it was misdxed? How many wrong dx did you receive? What effect did those medicines have on your body? Now there is a site trying to compile all the mistakes to take it to the next step. The FDA needs more oversite...
  2. The silence from Kinnikinnick is overwhelming. I guess this is it for them. They're no better than serving your children processed junk food. Msg laden, gluten free bread products. Thanks, Kinnikinnick, for all the poison.
  3. I am only going on what that truthinlabelingsite says. I had no idea that "Pea Protein" would be a hidden source of MSG. There seems to me, no reasonable expectation that a diligent consumer will be able to avoid exposure to a neurotoxin if this continues. I have no confirmation from Kinnkinnick, because they aren't responding to my question about pea...
  4. "Hawkfire. I liked Sanjaya at auditions and at the very beginning. Yes, I'm sure that AI does their fair share of manipulating some of it. But Vote For the Worst and everyone who is voting for Sanjaya not because they like his singing is RUINING the competition. I'm glad that it's so funny for you!" ^^^^^^Oh, sorry. That sounded annoyed.^^^^^^
  5. I just threw out nearly $200. worth of MSG bread products from Kinnkinnick. I'm so mad. Bluejeangirl, the cake has pea protein *MSG*. I didn't see any MSG in the pizza crusts. I'm sooooo mad. I feel jerked around and lied to. I will spend twice as much energy warning people about the hidden MSG in Kinnkinnick than I ever spent touting the product- which...
  6. I second coconut oil with sea salt. We use hummus for a replacement, rice milk, almond milk, avocado freshly creamed for a spread, today we purchased pumpkin peanut butter for a new spread. For items such as cheese, we don't bother. There are no substitutes. You have to accept that. It only hurts for about a year... Doing this makes you see how easy...
  7. I don't feel badly after eating Kinnkinnick. I am trying to avoid Neurotoxins! It's so frustrating to be lied to at every meal. I'm so close to going vegan and raw. I do it a bit, then I eat cooked again and use breads. I am angry thinking that my children have been being fed Neurotoxins at nearly $5.00 a loaf! Who do these people think they are?
  8. Thanks, Mango and ^^ above poster. I enjoy Indian foods because I like the unique flavors and the Spicy hotness of some. I get tired of all the mexican meals. I will look into the other foods. I'm still waiting for the Madras Coconut people to get back with me.
  9. I'm concerned about MSG and all of it's relatives. I was on my new favorite site, Open Original Shared Link and saw that Pea Protein is another way of saying MSG. I know I've seen pea protein in my home. So, I looked around. I found my KINNIKINNICK products!!!! have Pea protein. I emailed them and asked directly. No response. Anyone know? I'd...
  10. Ingredients: Tomato, Potato, Coconut milk, Onion, Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Ginger, Chili Pepper, Curry Leaves, Tamarind, Sugar, Asafoetida, Tumeric, Urad Dal (lentil) Flour, Salt, Cilantro, Mustard. Looks gluten free. Anyone confirmed it?
  11. Kinnkinnick pancakes with berries and powdered sugar. Make them to look like easter eggs. One year I put them on top of dyed green coconut shreds, but my children said it looked so great, but the coconut messed with the over all texture. Still... Maybe this year I will lay them on my large serving platter on top of the coconut shreds so that way they do...
  12. What's childish is being so emotionally invested in a reality tv show that you have negative emotions over an outcome you don't desire. I wasn't too impressed with Fantasia or Rubin. William Hung has a much name recognition as either of them! If Sanjaya wins, I expect our lives will move along as they did after Chris Daughtry was voted off. Really,...
  13. I believe, even funnier, is that you are annoyed with me for having an opinion opposite of yours. This is a democracy, after all. I am within my rights to find this amusing, votes determine who stays and who goes... The judges who manipulated the contest by pitting talent against a green, semi-talented teenager- well, they're the fools who caused you all...
  14. Here is a very safe, natural remedy for your child. I promise you, it will work in two days if not ONE day. Chlorella. Go to your natural foods store. They pretty much all carry CHLORELLA. Ask for it if you cannot locate it. They are small, green pills- pluverized algae. Totally non-toxic. You cannot take too many and be poisoned. However, do your...
  15. Of all the seasons, this is my favorite.
  16. It IS rigged... by the judges. They are the ones who put Sanjaya up against the quality singers such as MELINDA. My children and I are enjoying this season more than any other out there. Teach your children the power of voting and not to be manipulated by three over-paid, marginally talented "judges". If votefortheworst and the idea of pushing ahead a...
  17. I don't understand the people who are angry about Sanjaya. I guess it could be similar to the way I was reacting to Jasmine Treas several years ago. I couldn't understand why she was not voted off. Then when I heard about most of Hawaii voting for her, I understood. I stopped being mad. I figured they'd never have a Hawaiian singer on the show again...
  18. This is difficult. I sometimes find I have to give up a recipe or a food. One food I have found I can do a lot with is Hummus. There are so many flavors. The consistency is creamy. I know it's not easy to be soy and dairy free, I am, but it is worth it to your health. Perhaps a flavored hummus or a plain hummus would alter your recipe, but at the same...
  19. You say you don't think she really needs it... you are right. She doesn't. If you choose to allow her to be available for a doctor who wants to perform a test.. I can't stop you. No one here can. This isn't really about advice. You admit she doesn't need the biopsy. I don't understand why you would even consider it at this point. Perhaps you are intimidated...
  20. I believe they are correct. However, I believe in a system where animals are corrupted with antibiotics, hormones, tainted gluten grain food, their own species chopped up and fed to them... I do not believe this meat is the meat being referred to. This meat has been tampered with and there are consequences. Perhaps this meat DOES have gluten in the flesh...
  21. I did not state that free range animals get no gluten. I meant that they do not stand caged with a trough of gluten grains being force fed to them exclusively. Sorry if you thought I meant that free range animals receive no gluten free grains at all. That would be unrealistic. However, I do not believe that manipulating an animals diet to be such an unnatural...
  22. Does that mean an animal which is gluten intolerant will have gluten in it's flesh? Many dogs have celiac disease. Not that we eat dogs. The theory for this, I read, is the unnatural diet of grains we've been force feeding them. The only way to know if a cow does not have gluten in it's flesh would be to test it? Is that what it boils down to? Wondering...
  23. The idea that you need a biopsy to confirm celiac is outdated. I am simply stunned that you still are undecided. I was heartbroken for your child to read of her conviction not to eat gluten only to have her resolve destroyed by this doctor. No one goes through all of this to become vegan. This is a diet. She has the blood tests clearly indicating celiac...
  24. Is there proof? I don't eat beef ever because it is not heathy to eat what we consider beef these days. It is full of antibiotics, fed a diet that is not healthy or natural to the animal, and not in living conditions that I want to promote. As to the question about beef being an intolerance or an allergy- Meat allergies are extremely rare. So rare that...
  25. You need to work on perspective and acceptance. I do it all naturally with three children. Granted, they can assist in loading dishes, unloading, rinsing vegetables.. At the end of each day, I take so much pride in evalutaing what we ate. If I were to try and dismiss a few neurotoxins here or there, some caseomophins in the dairy we were to eat, the pesticides...
