  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. When you go grocery shopping, what always finds it's way into your basket? I have found that I am addicted to Uncle Bob's chocolate cake. It tastes just like regular cake, and even my kids help me eat it.
  3. Open Original Shared Link My whole family loved it, and I couldn't tell a difference.
  4. As far as school goes, my husband's school tried to fail him when he'd missed too much due to his diabetes. I mentioned the ADA and they shut up pretty quickly.
  5. Thank you!
  6. I want to make hash brown cassarole for tomorrow and it takes cream of chicken soup, which has flour in it. Does anyone know where I can find a safe alternative?
  7. The Trader Joe's here in Vancouver is tiny. I had a hard time just moving through the store, and I really didn't find a whole lot. The Wild Oats here is MUCH better, and bigger too.
  8. Safe or no no?
  9. I've been gluten free for a week, and I already know that feeling! I just HAD to try something, and that was all she wrote. If it helps any, I found a gluten free cake mix at Wild Oats (I can't remember the brand but am going back there for other things so I'll see what it is) that tastes just like regular chocolate cake. My kids couldn't even tell the...
  10. I wish I could gain weight. Sigh. I usually weigh about 100 (I'm 5'5") but I'm at about 95 or so right now. I've never been able to gain, unless I was pregnant (or on bedrest after having an ectopic pregnancy). Oh and I wouldn't recommend Seroquel for just an anti depressant.
  11. Honestly it sounds like that nasty tummy bug that went around last year. I had it twice and had those exact symptoms. I never did throw up (thank goodness, as I have a SEVERE phobia of it) but I was sick for over a week. DH had it once too and was the same way. Hope you feel better.
  12. See, I took Lamictal before trying Seroquel, and I was sicker than a dog. I was SO DIZZY I couldn't walk down the stairs without feeling like I was going to fall down. It was horrible. The only side effects I've had on the Seroquel is tiredness after beginning it and after increasing the dose (but that went away after about 3 days or so).
  13. I'd go buy her something with lactose in it and tell her that it's so good, it's worth getting sick over. I hate my MIL, but luckily they live across the country from us.
  14. I am bipolar, so I have a lot of bad days. I take it one hour at a time. Working is pretty much out of the question for me, as there are days when I can't talk myself up out of bed, but school was slightly better. And life really sucks if I'm having a bad depression day AND a diarrhea day. Then I just hole up in my house and be miserable.
  15. That was me last night! I thought, ewwww, I feel yucky. Then my tummy growled, so I ate something. I felt so much better after that! I've also eaten almost like a normal person the last couple of days. Not just a bite here and a bite there, but eaten actual meals. That's the first time I've done that in a LONG time.
  16. I've been gluten free for about 48 hours now, and I think I feel a little better already! At least, I haven't had diarrhea today (which is always a good thing, right??) and I'm not icky feeling. Am I really feeling better, or am I just imagining it?
  17. Everyone reacts differently to anti depressants, so what works for one may not work for another. Like, my dad took Paxil. Worked great, and no problems starting or stopping it. I took it, and was miserably sick the first 2 weeks, then suddenly the icky feeling went away. But, it made me shake really bad. As in, I couldn't write or anything. So I had...
  18. If you have actually been in there, are the prices the same online and in the store?
  19. I actually live VERY close to that store! I keep seeing it when I go somewhere, but I have yet to stop in there. I may do that today.
  20. I just moved to Vancouver, WA from Marion, AR a couple of weeks ago. Way off topic, but I'm jealous of ya'll's warm weather (although I seee ya'll are under a tornado watch now, so I don't feel so homesick!).
  21. I used to feel like that a lot, which is NOT cool since I have this paralyzing fear of throwing up. I found that taking 40 mg of Nexium twice a day helps.
  22. I think the non frozen bread was Ener G. I got some Ener G crackers and they are actually really good. I'll have to look into making bread I guess. What do you use for flour? I got some rice or potato flour, can't remember which, will that work?
  23. I have the Member's Mark brand of mulitvitamins (from Sam's Club) and they say gluten free on the back. I don't know about the other stuff though. 450 of them were less than $10.
  24. I know where I 5 is! I can't find much yet, but I can find that! Anyway, I went to Fred Meyer and picked up some wheat free/gluten free stuff. I keep telling myself that I AM going to do this.
