  1. Casscade Fresh and Mountain High brands are gluten free. Both brands state this on the carton. I don't know if they are available in Canada.
  2. I am sorry to here of your bad experience. I agree, report this to law enforcement officials. In addition, you might consider getting help for your emotional hurt from a school or private counciler. Also consider a school or private pschycologist.
  3. I would suggest that you see a surgeon. I had my gallbladder removed about 7 weeks ago. My test results showed slug in my gallbladder but no stones from my CAT scan.   4. Consider non-sandwich alternatives for lunch. Possibley a salad that includes meat, cheese, and/or hardboiled eggs or a hot meal such as spegettii sauce with gluten free pasta in a thermas.

  8. I use cooked rice in my meatlof instead of bread (about 1/2 cup per 1/2 pound. I also use 1 egg per 1/2 pound .

  10. Don't worry about stepping on toes. You are your child's advocate. My son has Aspergers and Tourettes and was in special education from the second grade on. He graduated from high school in June. I had to step on a few toes along the way to get him the services he needed.

  15. I would also like to thank anyone who chooses to participate and takes the risk of being ill. I can not participate because I was not diagnosed by a biopsy. I would still eat gluten free even if a pill is available. I would only take it prior to eating out to prevent a glutening from Cross Contamianation.

  21. I spoke to the manufacturer of Gas-X (Novartis Consumer Heath). The Chewable Gas-X is gluten free. The Extra Strength (green) Softgel are have not been tested for gluten but no gluten is knowingly added.

  24. An insulated lunch box or a soft sided cooler (for a six or twelve pack) with blue ice will keep food cold. This is what I take to work.
