  1. Yeah, the other toothy smiley guys was better. The corners on this one's mouth go up too far and he looks like the Jack Nicholson Joker. Bad.
  2. ( I could use one of those.....)
  3. Bleehhhh, up at 5 again. So had enough of this not sleeping....
  4. (skott doesn't like vinsenntt....)
  5. Raw egg is a risk, but it's a calculated risk. Cage free eggs are much safer, as well.
  6. I made a pot roast. It is the BEST one I've ever done! I actually put green pepper in it by accident (long story) and I think that makes the meat more tender or something. Or it's just the best piece of meat I ever got. Yum!
  7. Glad you're doing well, Roda!
  8. So the fair I was at this weekend had a forge right across the way from the booth I was working in, and every morning and evening they would set off their cannon (unloaded). It is INCREDIBLY loud. So last night at around 1am, I dreamed it was about to go off, and woke up, sat bolt upright in bed with my fingers in my ears. Yeah. I have GREAT dreams.
  9. What I find excessively lame is the poeple who don't have these necessities who dealt with the two big storms CT got hit with last year. One half of the state lost power for a week during Irene in August, and the other half of the state got whacked with the big early snowstorm before Halloween. After that, how is it that stores are selling out of flashlights...
  10. Holy crap! Ask and ye shall receive. And SKaught, I find it incredibly wonderful and amusing that you came to the psilly thread to see what everyone thought.
  11. I stuck a bunch of tupperware containers full of water in the freezer to use in the fridge if the power goes out, and made a bunch of ice cubes. Then I can put the big blocks of ice in the fridge and leave a few in the freezer, and put the ice cubes in a cooler with the food I'm making today, and not have to open the fridge or freezer again. Seems like...
  12. People in New England are insane. It's official. How many people are going to buy bread, milk, and eggs? What are you going to do when the power goes out? Make French toast? Numbskulls..... Only thing I don't like about the new format is it's too big from left to right, you have to scroll back and forth to read. I think it would be better if...
  13. I love that this is what you two notice. This guy's tongue needs to be bigger. (I didn't mean it like that Rachelle!!!)
  14. Uh-oh. Frankenstorm is all Pattie's fault! That's what you get for being all helpful and nice and **it.
  15. ^ She has a point. (She usually does....)
  16. I second this suggestion whole-heartedly. Of course, I would NEVER suggest that someone do something ILLEGAL...... not me, no sir. But weed works, baby. Makes you hungry and you don't have anxiety about eating either. Just have food ready beforehand that's safe.
  17. *loud stupid chuckle! This is funny. I am getting my bro-in-law to help pick out a generator, cuz I am so not interested in losing the food in my freezer!
  18. SO I had a dream last night that I was a spy and my assignment required me to eat gluten. Yeah. I need a hobby.....
  19. Not sure what your other symptoms are, but if the lips are blistering and they HURT, it sounds like a pervasive cold sore infection.
  20. If I had either of those, I'd be good!
  21. Yes, but one interpretation sounds very messy!! In this case, it earned me a great deal of good will. That's all I meant. (for now...)
  22. We're here for you baby!
  23. We got hammered huh? Stupid trees. Not when it takes your power out for eight days in the freezing cold! Probly not as much of a problem in CO though is it?
