  5. . Hi Barbara, welcome it does get easier, when I was diagnosed in Nov 2005 I couldn't cook or bake and had to rely on Store bought 'stuff' My god was it ever disgusting, Pizza bases tasted like cardboard, bread was dry, gritty and bland (reminded me of saw-dust). . 7. Hi 'jerseygrl', I don't mean to put a damper on your state of 'Eurphoria' about the bread !, but something caught my eye, you use Rice Dream Milk, here in Ireland anyway Rice Dream Milk contains 'Barley Malt Protien' and is considered unsuitable for Coeliacs. . If it is the same on your side, you could use Darifree (derived from potato) and re-constittute...
  8. Hi 'Amina', you didn't say where you're moving to ? your message infers that you bake from scratch ? . Potato, Corn and Tapioca (sometimes called cassava) are all starches and inter-changeable, only slightly altering the flavour. . As a substitute for 'Xanthan Gum' try using Guar Gum (India is the main world exporter) and it should be available everywhere...

I know some people are going to scratch their head and say "What's red lemonade" ? ? . Well Ireland is the only country...
  22. Hi Doll, Thanks for your reply, one point though Ireland is NOT the UK. The UK is the United Kingdom of England, Wales, Scotland and for the moment Northern Ireland. . Don't get me wrong I'm not sensitive about the issue as I was actually born in Glasgow Scotland (and hold a British passport) but have lived nearly all of my life in Dublin (The Irish...
