    I googled "gluten in ensure" and it came up with a link to amazon where they are being sold under the gluten free section. I do believe they are gluten free. Hopefully someone will be able to confirm this for you.

    That's funny. I had one night I was going to go to an event and I was getting ready and I randomly decided to take my temperature and it was 101.2 (something like that) so I didn't go. Well, then a few hours later my fever was totally gone! It was very strange.

    I don't think they will treat you without seeing you first. Mine, he has a phone consult once a month, but every other month you have to see him. If you do IV though, you see him every month. Does that make sense?

    My GI dr suggested at one point that I may have Lymphocitic colitis which may be what the "infiltrates of lympocytes" means. If you google it, it basically says it's caused by stress and the management of it is with anti-diarrheal meds and "life changes." I don't know that I believe that, but that's what she said too.

The only issue I have with the whole Enterolab/self-diagnosing thing is that Dr's cannot rule things out.     I'm not sure if I can tolerate it. I know that dairy "issues" run in my family...almost everyone has a problem with dairy. The biggest issue is that I can't handle anything if it makes me nauseous. I think I would jump off a bridge if something else made me nauseous...I'm already struggling, lol.     You can have it as long as you can tolerate dairy. Whey protein is just a form of dairy. If you're newly diagnosed, you might not be able to tolerate dairy for a while, but if you're okay with dairy, this is fine for you.

    Does anyone know what White Blood Cells found in stool tests means? I had a stool test done and the normal range for White Blood Cell Count is supposed to be "none" but mine came back as "present." I read it usually means inflammation of the colon--such as seen in Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's. Does anyone know also if this could be a sign of my villi not...

    LOL! I thought so! :lol: Are you going to be on tonight? Carla, It seems I am no longer able to tolerate eggs. Ugh...that's what my protein powder is, egg whites. It gives me horrible gas and a rumbly tummy. This was happening before I was sick, so it's not due to that.

    I would look into iron shots or Iron IV's. I have had Iron IV's--it's the only way I can get enough iron to keep my levels within normal range. My Dr told me I'd have to take about half of a bottle of iron to get the amount in just one IV.

    Brian, How much Nystatin did you take? I take it daily, but only 1/8 tsp. My LLMD wants me to take it just to keep the possible Candida under control because I am on abx. Also, there is a brand of probiotics that has 450 BILLION strains of probiotics, called Theralac. I use it and tons of people swear by it. It's the strongest out there, so that may be...
