  1. Carla, How long do you sleep on an average day? I seem to sleep until 10.30 no matter what time I go to bed...ugh. It's not very conducive to getting school work done/started for the day.
  2. Andrea, Thanks for posting the info. I too will save it for later use. My pulse is really wacky though already because of Lyme, well I think that's why anyway. It is usually around 100-115 which is pretty high, even when I'm resting. Strange. Lisa, LOL!
  3. Thanks. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. That sucks! What is coco pulse testing? LOL!!!!! Rachel, That's great! I'm SOOOO jealous!
  4. If you have Leaky Gut, and NOT celiac, you may be able to tolerate gluten again. There are a few members on this board who that has happened for. But, if you have Celiac, you must NEVER EVER eat gluten again! It's just that simple! The only issues is that you want to make sure that you have leaky gut, not Celiac if you're going to eat gluten later...
  5. Anyone ever experience day sweats? LOL! I think I'm herxing today. Or it was the trampoline?! Lisa, Have fun with your ecoffee!!!!
  6. Julie, Carla beat me to it! We must have been posting at the same time. Carla, I'm glad you were able to go to the gym! My mom is trying to figure out if I can get my gym membership back...let's hope!
  7. According to my LLMD it is a Lyme symptom. I think it's Bart actually, but I do know it's Lyme related. I actually noticed that it was really bad for me earlier this morning, it's funny you wrote this. I was really annoyed at it earlier. This is one of the reasons they think I have bart (I think that's right...Carla?). It's exactly like you said, it feels...
  8. Does anyone get nauseous from water? I have realized that any liquids make me really sick to my stomach! How do I prevent this?! LOL! It's not like I can stop drinking.
  9. LOL! I haven't had a period since August, and there isn't one near, unless they induce me. This happened last January to July when they finally induced it. Then I didn't stop bleeding, so they put me on the pill, lol. My mom is actually very concerned about this. I mean, we're glad I'm not bleeding for 90 days again, but it makes no sense (well, I...
  10. With both ART/ASYRA, do you have to do series and series of sessions? I am thinking about going to a nutritionist/chiropractor who works with Lyme patients and she does muscle testing. I think that may be a way to go. I don't think my mom will go for another Dr. though, lol. Keep us updated! I hope all goes well!!! Everyone, We set up...
  11. Dairy and soy CAN cause villi damage. Well, actually I don't know if they actually cause it or just stop the villi from healing when you go gluten-free. I think Ursa Major has more info on this though.
  12. Zith isn't that bad compared to Mepron! It is literally almost $1,000 without insurance! :o Yes, $350 is a lot of money, but an endoscopy and colonsocopy (not saying people should have stool tests done instead of end/colon) are a couple thousand dollars. And, I don't know if they would have revealed anything anyway. I have to ask the LLMD if he wants me...
  13. I am wondering if anyone has done a blood test for food intolerances...is it ELISA? I know that I need to get to the root of what is *causing* food intolerances, but for right now, I am wondering if there is any way to find out what may be causing some more of my GI stuff?! I saw one that was explained online, it tests for about 180 foods by blood and...
  14. Yes, I can totally relate! As far as meds/things to help, the only thing that sometimes helps me are prescription strength anti-nausea meds. I am taking phenergan right now, I used to take Zofran. I also was going to suggest ginger tea, unsweetened. It may help you. I really don't have much else to say, because I am still getting over being glutened...
  15. Zith without insurance here is almost $300...for generic! It's WAY more for brand name. And, we kinda fifured out why the change of cost happened. It's really confusing. I think it was around $350. It's not that bad, and heck, after all the other tests we have had done, this revealed a lot more than anything else we have tested before.
  16. I had a full GI stool test done through them and I got a lot of interesting info from it. I have yet to see the Dr. who ordered the test yet, so I don't know what he will want to do about it, but I had good luck from them. It was EXTREMELY thorough. I hope that helps.
  17. Thanks Donna. It would help if I set it up, lol. LOL!!!!!! I haven't had any babies (obviously) and I have bladder issues, lol.
  18. I wanted to say that there may be a possibility of Celiac contributing to scoliosis. I mean, if it causes failure to thrive, why would it not attack the spine also? I have 2 spinal disorders (the scoliosis is way less problematic than the other one) and nobody else in my family does. So...where did that come from? Obviosuly it's not genetics in my case. But...
  19. Aww Rachel, that's so sad about your autistic "friend." At least you tried to do what you could do. Sherry, It's interesting, because I keep saying to my mom how extremely congested I have been, but I'm not eating dairy--which is what usually congests people. I wonder if this is the problem. It's already on my list to ask Dr. H about when I see...
  20. Julie, I'm sorry you're having a rough day. I am too for some reason today. I am still severely nauseous. I can't stand being so nauseous and then I take something, but then I sleep for 4 hours! Can't win. Everyne, Does anyone know what mycoplasma pneumoniae is? I tested positive for it. Is it really pneumonia? Is that right?
  21. We bought a mini trampoline today!!! YAY!!! I am going to go set it up and maybe try to "rebound." Is there anything special I need to know?
  22. Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately Pepto Bismol makes me worse. It's also really bad because I have to eat at least 10-15 grams of fat at breakfast and dinner so I can take a medication, this only makes things way worse.
  23. I unfortunately was glutened two days in a row from eating out (I officially will NEVER eat out again, lol) and here we are on Saturday, and I still am nauseated. I was glutened on Tuesday and Wednesday. The nausea is so bad I am having to take pretty heavy duty nausea meds just to keep food down. It's awful. My question is, how long do these symptoms...
  24. I have a 17 degree curve of scoliosis and another back problem. Make sure they watch it closely because I literally one day had 6 disc bulges from the stupid curve!! See if you can maybe get her into physical therapy because they can really help with ways to strengthen the muscles that are weak, thus allowing a curve. I did PT for a while and it made...
  25. This is very interesting, but I am on all kinds of meds (antibiotics) and supplements and I was getting really constipated for a while. So, I took some psyllium fiber and it actually made me WAY more constipated and feel WAY worse! Some people say it's best to take all supplements out and slowly add them back in one at a time to see if any are making...
