  1. Kristina, YAY! It sounds like you finally got some answers. I hope they are able to find something so you can get it fixed and get to the bottom of the problem. Kassandra
  2. Carla, Thank you...my Uncle is an interior designer so he designed my room...it's ALL Pottery Barn stuff...lol! We joke it looks like it could be in their catalog...lol!! Julie, She said they thought it might have been an ulcer, but wouldn't she either be puking blood or having black stools? Hmm.. I guess the GI will give her more answers. Andrea...
  3. Sarah, My brother doesn't drive!!!! He is almost 20!!! And we don't really talk without fighting...lol!!! My grandma is going to take me though. The Protein Powder I got was only $16, which is pretty cheap really. It would last quite a while...I don't really use it anymore, but it would last a long time. It is a clear diet fast, but no jell...
  4. Carla, I remember you telling me you spoke some Spanish, but I never thought about asking you for help! Thanks for the offer!! Julie, I will totally post pictures of my little tree! I finished it, but I want to take pics of it and the way I decorated my nightstand! It's so cute! Everyone, I am finally starting to get into the holiday...
  5. Andrea, I have to fast because they don't want me to throw up in the procedure. The only problem is that they are doing it at 2 in the afternoon and I will be reallllllly weak by that point without food. And yes, it's on Tuesday! I have to find someone to take me though, because my mom may be working, and they won't let me take myself! Donna, I...
  6. Carla, Yea, the video was a BAD idea! LOL! I'm sure it will be fine, but it's scary!! Andrea, The one you're talking about is different than a PICC line, that's is a central catheter. A PICC goes in your arm instead of on/near your chest. Sherry, Yea, I know I have come this far...it will all work out...I hope!!! LOL! Jin, I will respond...
  7. HOLY CRAP!!!!! I just watched a video about the insertion of PICC lines...AHHH!! I want to run!!!! OMG, I am so nauseous!!!! HELP!!! Kassandra
  8. Sarah, The name of the powder is "now foods egg white protein powder." We bought it at a local health food store because it is the only one I could find that didn't have soy lecithin, etc. in it. I don't know if you can get it online, but if need be, I can always get some for you and ship it to you. Let me know! Ugh...MUST GET SLEEP! I took an advil...
  9. My parents (dad and stepmom) had a small wedding of about 30 people at a little cottage place in New Zealand because that is where my stepmom is from. It was really nice and since the currency exchange was great for us, it was really at a beautiful location. It was really humble and sweet. Everyone loved it. I was 7 and am now 17 and I want a big wedding...
  10. Sarah, The Egg white protein powder I was putting into a smoothie in the mornings. I did frozen berries (a mix from Trader Joe's) and I did a little water (didn't do rice milk because it is SO high is sugar) and some stevia. It was great and held me over for a long time. If you want the brand name, let me know...I can look, it's downstairs...too tired...
  11. Birdy, I am sorry you're reacting to foods...that's really hard. That is why I am doing raw foods...it's easier than avoiding 43829738954389 foods. LOL!!! As Andrea said to me...don't worry about the negativity. We're here for you whether you feel good or not. Kassandra
  12. Birdy, I am so sorry to hear about your throat!! That's so scary!! I think I would have freaked out...lol! I still am really splotchy all over my body from the abx and I am really worried...lol. I understand about your mom, it is really hard to deal with! My mom and I actually are quite different, so it's hard to come to an agreement. I hope you...
  13. Julie, Do you know if you had your Lyme test through a lab called HLC? They have locations in Arizona, CA and another state. (don't remember) Just wondering...because that is where they will do my test (the one we don't think will be positive) Kassandra
  14. Carla or Donna, Random question...how long do the bull's eye rashes last? Kassandra
  15. Tom, I really don't think I have candida. It's possible, but I don't have the symtpoms. My sweet tooth has diminished like crazy since going raw. I am eating fruits, but limited sweeteners. It *could* be candida, but I am not sure. Also, when I had my muscle testing a while ago, the guy said I did NOT have a yeast issue. Hmm. Carla, The way you...
  16. Carla, I never thought of that! Maybe he is jealous of the lack of attention I am getting!!! Although I think it was all a lie because he has been eating macaroni and cheese for days (no wonder he's sick!!!) and this morning he told my mom he feels fine! He is such a liar!!!! LOL!!! I really do think I have babesia...I think all the symptoms make...
  17. Nyxie, I know bacteria loves iron. It will be interesting to see if my SBBO has anything to do with my anemia. The GI doesn't think it does, neither does the Hematologist...but we'll see. Sherry, Ouch...that sounds painful. When I was in Thailand once I had a "foot scrape" OMG I started crying it was so painful! They soak your feet and then scrape...
  18. Sarah, I will tell you what my GI told me about the SBBO, which MAY be a possibility. I actually think that it's very similar to Candida, but more of the "western" diagnosis of Candida. Since I had inconclusive blood tests, the GI is convinced I don't have Celiac. But, she said the reason that I felt better for a while after I started the gluten-free diet...
  19. Sarah, If you can, post the blood work for the anemia...I have become an expert! Make sure if she takes iron that she takes ferrous gluconate, nothing like slow fe...that stuff is crap! Ferrous gluconate is really the best kind of iron you can take. Did you mention B-12? If she can eat any beef that helps with the iron, along with spinach. If it's just...
  20. Carla, My phone doesn't have an alarm like that...stupid blackberry! It doesn't make noise so if I leave my phone somewhere I'll never know it went off. LOL! I did find a great spreadsheet that helps me remember. I think I will try to use that! Kassandra BTW, I took some advil PM last night....omg, it was amazing! Within 20 minutes I was fast...
  21. The hard part is the probiotics. They stay in the fridge...so remembering those is the hardest part. Well, I have the PICC line set up for Tuesday. I have to have a blood clotting test at 10am and then the PICC line insertion will be at 2pm. I have to fast before the blood test and stay on clear liquids and then nothing for an entire 2 hours before the...
  22. Donna, They have all those numbers. The ALT is 8, which according to this lab, that's low. I looked all of these numbers up and they suggest malnutrition. That's so strange!! It's really hard though because all labs have different reference ranges so it's hard to tell what really *is* low or high. One of the numbers are low on this labs reference range...
  23. Anyone, What do you look for on labs for liver enzymes? Anyone know what it's called? Kassandra
  24. If I do the humaworm, I REFUSE to look in the toilet!! YUCK!!! That grosses me out, I can handle everything else, kids puking on me...but NOT tapeworms living in me! YUCK! The Lyme test came back but I'm waiting for them to fax it over! YAY! My mom has disappeared....lol! I have no idea where she is...and she still won't talk to me! Kassandra
  25. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I will write everything down for the LLMD, but I was worried he's have to read a book! When the person I spoke to to make the appt. told me to bring everything...I started laughing. I said we'll have to FedEx that stuff to you...it was very funny! It's actually raining here and I am worried about leaks. We still...
