  1. Rachel, Its amazing to me that as we review these things over and over, about the methylation and stuff, that it gradually DOES start to sink in! I think I have some disruption but it seems a bit different than you and Nancy. Plus I do have the infections as issues and most likely celiac to contribute to the malabsorption as well as the metals. I...
  2. Not sure all parasites do, but the worms at least. I think the sickness can be just due to die-off of the yeast, bad bacteria and stuff. I don't know if the worms dying themselves causes die-off, I don't remember about that, but the release of the mercury does cause symptoms if you can't excrete it. Did the sickness wear off after a few weeks like...
  3. Shay, what I understand is that most of the parasites we pass are not recognizable. How did you find out about the Seacure products?
  4. I'm guessing I'm partially blocked....
  5. Try petechia, plural petechiae.... I see you got a lot of answers already. I have some of these too. Sherry
  6. I made the SCD muffins today and tossed in blueberries; baked part of it in a pie plate because I didn't have enough muffin cups. It was excellent! I think I'll do the muffins in a square pan after this and just try cutting them in squares.
  7. This is great great news, and I hope more people with bipolar give this a try. I passed worms second day on the SCD, and again a few days later. One thing I learned on the OMG thread is that parasites absorb mercury, and then the immune system cannot get at them because the mercury is so toxic. When they die, the mercury is released. So I am thinking...
  8. Brenda, that was such an encouraging post. I'm planning to stick with this at least for awhile because it is clear from my lab tests that I can't handle carbs. I have been gluten-free for over a year, soy free for just a year now, and was milk free for 10 months before the testing I had showed I could tolerate small amounts of cow dairy and goat dairy is...
  9. Kassandra, Yay for a good day once a week, let's hope there's more to come very soon. Are you still comfortable with this gyn? Sherry
  10. Rachel, your appointment sounds excellent, seems like a confirmation of a lot of things. I'm thinking my mercury has been locked up too but I don't think I am fully blocked because I am handling taurine, MSM, and now GSH. I am hopeful with all the changes last winter and this summer, that now the chelation will work better. Everyone, I am starting...
  11. Ditto from me, too, Kassandra. I am hoping things take a much better turn very soon. Sherry
  12. I wonder if he is feeling something but not too self aware to pick it up? Sounds like he is getting a bit of a high or something. Sherry
  13. Donna, glad you are making progress and sorry about the bump on the sore toe. I'd like to see your paintings, sounds fun! Carla, that's funny that you didn't tell your LLMD about the worms. I told mine, but not about the most recent ones since that happened after my appointment. I don't think he has been surprised. He told me he has a colleague that...
  14. Julie, the "tonage of parasites" gave me a laugh, too! You all might enjoy this tidbit. When I went for the pre-consult with the nurse practitioner for the colonoscopy coming up, she asked about the changes in bowel habits I reported. I told her a bit about starting SCD and two days later passing a bunch of roundworms. She just about fell off her chair...
  15. Rachel, I am not sure, but I am glad you posted all of that, because I was just wondering about GSH myself. I am tolerating the shots well...so am excited that when I start DMPS maybe things will work better. I had already started GSH when I did my last ART, and I showed as needing a lot more of the binders, so am thinking that it IS working. Sherry
  16. WOW! I wonder if this would work for diabetics, my FIL is a double amputee and gets sores easily. Sherry
  17. I can totally relate. I told my LLMD that I would accept being 60-70% if it was just STABLE. At least then I could plan and adjust my lifestyle accordingly. Sherry
  18. I haven't tried the oral, but am doing well on my injections, both B12 and Meyer's B mix. Sherry
  19. Pele, LOL, I don't try to pronounce it! I took the vowels out. Do you do nuts and dairy, I forget what you said above. For calories, I'd do cheese and bake more with almond flour. I made the muffins the other day and they are very good; I'm just doing one a day at this point. Trying to follow the constipation protocol on pecanbread.com. Make the...
  20. Kassandra, it's good to have you pop in and I'm always looking for your updates, hoping you feel better soon. Maybe the symptoms are a herx and you'll feel better after, we can hope. I am doing okay, a bit more tired the past three days, but am enjoying a bit more variety in the SCD, enough to get by. I'm not trying any raw stuff yet. REALLY good...
  21. Rachel, I'm not sure about the Gemmobase and phenols and salicylates. But Dr. E told me that these are very different than the mature plant-based herbals. She said it is totally different even though it is the same plant. So you might try to find out, unfortunately you gotta read French to read very much on Google! Probably Amy knows though or could...
  22. Rachel, not sure I have your email address...doesn't seem to be on my list. PM me and I'll send you my update. Sherry
  23. Carla, thanks for the info on the light, I am very interested. Can't afford it right now, but please keep me updated on yours and other's progress with it. Myabe I can run it by my LLMD next winter. Welcome, Lan. Rachel I haven't known anyone who has done that surgery. I'd be concerned to, but also understand the frustration with weight. I'd talk...
  24. I am still experimenting, and I can't tell you expense wise--seems like more, but then I am eating simpler too so maybe not. I'm trying to make a chicken, carrot, ginger soup by cooking and then blending everything. I had one of the the Pacific's soups that was so good. I love soup for lunch and if they would eat raw veggies with dip you could come up...
  25. The zeolite didn't test at all well for me this week in ART. So, I can't help out Lisa, LOL. Parasites really showed up though this time, and lyme didn't show, babesia was much better. The Enula is working very very well for me. I am also on several Gemmobase things--these are the plant stem cell/plant embryo products. Katy, that's the product referred...
