Each pregnancy is different....you're 11 weeks along and feeling terrible because you're pregnant
I'm 16 weeks now and through 14 weeks it was the WORST.....it'll subside, just keep eating healthy and fight through it, in a few more weeks you'll feel as good as new!
-
I definitely don't think you should embellish, nor ask for something free in return....quite frankly, you're less likely to get something for free if you ask for it, especially if you aren't telling the whole truth. Please do not listen to the advice of the person who told you to do this. Next time, definitely reach out to management prior to your visit to find out what the appropriate procedure is for bringing in outside food (even if you already know, if you make the effort to reach out and talk to someone, it's greatly appreciated) and always maintain a calm, polite attitude. I'm sorry that this happened, I know it's frustrating but these places have rules in place for a reason, whether we agree with them or not.

They're all educated about food allergies and what products they have before they start on the job. You might've been the first person this season to ask them about it but nonetheless, they shouldn't have been doing anything that made you feel uncomfortable. I'm glad you didn't get sick, I would've been very surprised if you did. Please don't let that one experience drive you away from visiting the Park again, they really are usually very on top of things and very good!
-
That's very odd. I eat there weekly and I've never had this experience. I've forwarded your post to the appropriate people.

It's frustrating because now with the Domino's thing, my friends are all texting and sending me the link and getting all excited, which I love....but when I tell them that it isn't safe for me I get the "oh there's the debby downer" or "oh yea, I'd forgotten how picky you are, even with gluten free stuff"....
neat!

sour apple jolly ranchers. trust a girl in her second trimester who was massively sick in her first, they work
-
Typically they're not ever rude or unhelpful, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. The Park just opened for the summer, so they're training some new folks and maybe they're overwhelmed...which is no excuse however. I love the chicken tenders and the gluten free pizza, Minetown Restaurant is one of the better places to sit and eat and relax. Boardwalk fries are gluten free as are a lot of the ice cream places. Granted it's your choice on the level of your comfort if you choose to eat there or not but when the park is open, I eat there weekly and have never once gotten sick. They are very well trained (yes even for highschool and college students) and I've never been so willing to recommend something before. I don't know if you have other intolerences or anything and I certainly understand if you don't feel comfortable but they really do a decent job at making gluten free people feel like they have options!

You can trust the food at Hersheypark. They have seperate spaces for the gluten free food. It takes a little longer because they make it when its ordered but it's worth it. If you have more questions, send me a personal message. I prefer not to post a lot of my personal stuff on this board but I'm 100% that you can trust it based on my experience. Also, if you don't want to get the band, you can re-enter the park with a hand stamp, so you can leave your food in your car and go back and get some if you want. I'm not sure why you feel like it's absurd and wrong to get a band to allow you to bring food in, a lot of places won't let you do that at all, no one knows what these bands are (guest wise), it's a way to look out for you.

I kept throwing the prep up, i couldn't take it at all. I had to go buy magnesium citrate and put it in a glass with ice and drink that which worked.

drop the green tea immediately. those also caused kidney stones for me, the doc said that was the likely culprit!

I have a better approach RiceGuy, why do YOU tell us what it is, after all, you would know better than me, right? I have my pen in hand, my notebook, and you are on the couch...please explain to us all what you see in this picture that we don't?
hahah seriously! I don't understand why everyone's explaination, including the creator of the ad, is still wrong in your mind....or why you even care so much to begin with. Time to let it go!!
-
Poor Scott!
Rice Guy, we thought this was a "just for fun thread" and responded that way. We had no idea that this is so serious to you and that the ad has offended you in some way.
Yikes....I didn't realize this was being taken so seriously!

Thing is, the texture is not at all like that of hair. It appears solid, and has specularity. Also notice the total absence of any light shining through it, which there would be if it was hair, especially given the obvious wind blowing. Not to mention that there is light shining on hair further up on that side, and it looks nothing like the portion in question.
Not having any other mundane explanation doesn't mean it has to be hair.
I guess my "mundane explanation" was correct.

You're silly. It absolutely can be red hair, the sun is shining on the one side of her body and the other is in the shade, based on the color of the skin on her hand it looks tan, not "dark". As a red head, I assure you that our hair color looks different in the sun than it does in the shade!

I'm still bitter about Twizzlers.

it's a red heads ponytail! hahaha sheesh people

I worry about coffee because it sends me to the bathroom with gluten or without it

I think the Subway thing is dead in the water. I have a relationship through my work with a few local franchisee's and they said that no one feels comfortable enough to try it because the risk of CC is so high, it'd almost be impossible to avoid.

Thank you for teaching me something new about Passover. I love learning new things about religions!

I can't eat Udi's at all...it gives me and my husband really bad D and my husband is a non-celiac. There's something about the way they make it (perhaps excess Xanathan Gum) that acts like a laxative to me and I can't deal with it.

Well I'm sorry....but my rotisserie chickens at Giant do not say that, which is why I was asking! Maybe they've changed things, but I'm looking at one directly in front of me as we speak.
People question things because a lot of people make claims on this board with no proof and a lot of the times, the information isn't correct, hence, my asking where you got your information. You didn't specify that you saw the "allergin: wheat" statement, so I was curious if you heard from Giant corporate or something. All you said was that Giant ones were not gluten free, no back up to that statement. It's important for many people that you explain where your information is coming from.
-
Can you show some proof that the Giant rotisserie's aren't gluten free? I eat them all the time and have no problems...the ingrediants don't lead me to believe that they're not.

When I first started taking my prenatals (2 months before becoming pregnant), they made me throw up a few times and feel dizzy. My dr just said that your body takes a few days to get used to it and NEVER take them on an empty stomach. Now I'm throwing up for all the right reasons

250 is actually in the normal range for b12 levels, albeit on the low end. I had been having problems for awhile and finally pinpointed a b12 deficiancy...my levels were 50 hahaha...It's been a year on the shots and I'm still only up to 209 but have also started taking b12 tablets. I have no other issues (like listed above) other than being a celiac..
