  1. Oh . . . OK . . . no pressure . . . I'll get right on it . . . after I have another round of ice cream . . . you don't expect my son to have to eat all those gallons of ice cream by himself, do you??
  2. Laughing out Loud . . . worth some calories, right? . . . but I'm having a root beer float . . . . . . I think I still lost gained, so to speak.
  3. Yes, I read it . . . of course, being men, they weren't thinking ahead . . . they should have also been asking for someone to clean up all their sh!t 'cause it sure as hell ain't gonna be Eva Longoria!!!
  4. My son asked the teenage babysitter (with acne) if she had the chicken pox. Ouch!!! You could put an eye out with that thing!!!
  5. Sarah, was in such a hurry she didn't finish her sentence . . . . . . it might leak. That's why we use the Open Original Shared Link when we're watching TV and can't wait for the commercial.
  6. Hello mrs.reim and welcome to the forum. Here is a website that lists companies that do not hide the gluten in their labels. They will call out all of their wheat, rye, barley and oats on their labels so if you don't see it on there, then it's OK. Open Original Shared Link We have a mixed gluten/gluten-free household. At the moment, it is almost...
  7. Oh . . . Sarah and Nikki . . . um . . . my children are perfect . . .
  8. Agreed with all of the above . . . However, I suggest you provide a bag of safe snacks for the teacher to keep in her cabinet/desk. If she is handing out snacks to the rest of the class, your daughter should be able to have something too and if you have provided it ahead of time, then you know it will be safe. You don't need a 504 to be able to do this...
  9. . . . and toilet connoisseurs . . .
  10. This is where I came . . . and this is where I stayed. Is there anything in particular that you need help with?
  11. ~alex~ . . . Great News!! Hope it gets better and better . . . . . . and I just want to remind you that all of us on the silly thread are avatar connoisseurs . . . so where's your pic, missy???!!!???
  12. Now, exactly what do you want your ceiling to look like when you're done????
  13. Well, we are hoping to stop at Niagra Falls . . . but that's a little tougher to schedule. That whole stop is weather dependant, but we do swing by awfully close. We've got a new family plan to start visiting all the states (and some provinces) on family vacations instead of (or in addition to) our annual South Carolina beach vacation.
  14. Any of you read Running with Scissors? I didn't see the movie, so I don't know how well it held up. Currently reading Look Me in the Eye . . . he is the brother of the author of Running with Incisors Scissors. Both are memoirs and they too are from an outrageously dysfunctional family.
  15. And next year, we are talking about heading out to Washington to see my brother (West Richland) and spend a little time in Seattle . . . Jess's neck of the woods but apparently (based on her profile) she lives in the middle of Puget Sound so we might have to rent a boat.
  16. If Bev can fit me into her busy schedule . . . we will be in Boxford from the 5th through the 11th or 12th. We will have some mandatory Bostonian sight-seeing to perform, but we're flexible at this point.
  17. tom, re: NAPHTA, excellent acronymizing!
  18. And we United Stations Statians have an Americaniemoticon which has an apple pie balanced on his cabbage head and fireworks shootin' out of his arse. It's this one I'm sure you can't see the pie or fireworks, but perhaps now you can better understand his expression.
  19. Yes, but you're in the right spot!!!
  20. YaY!!!! Thanks for sharing, Colleen!
  21. Yes, tis related . . . they're on holiday from Canada . . . gotta go somewhere . . . might as well go visit California Susie. Send me your extra Castle copy, toot sweet. I'm heading out on spring break in about two weeks and will need something to read on the long ride to Bev's Boston.
  22. We had the tonsils removed today. It could have gone better, but it could have also been much worse. Thank you all for your replies and suggestions. I did want to say that in general he is a happy and mostly healthy (small for his age) boy. He does not appear to have Celiac. His 6 month gluten free trial produced no changes. Also, there were...
  23. Well, since you live in Canada . . . the rest have the day off as a holiday . . . those of us in the states have them all
  24. The blood tests can get confusing, especially when you are wading through all the othe nonCeliac testing that was done, too. There are several tests that can be generalized as IgA. Did your different Iga readings have any other notations such as Anti-gliadin antibodies (AGA) both IgA and IgG Anti-endomysial antibodies (EMA) - IgA Anti-tissue...
  25. . . . and Susie, have you been reading the Hershey's threads? They are no longer saying that gluten is called out in their label. If it says "natural flavors", it is not necessarily gluten free because they have farmed out some of their manufacturing.
