  1. No, I was thinking Andrew . . . but I'm not a fan of spike either. I've noticed more drama this year, too. I was wondering if these guys are more emotional or if in the past seasons, they editted out the more intense flare-ups to make them all look like good guys . . . nahhh, probably not.
  2. Hey Carla!!! Good to see ya'!!! Hope you're feelin' better soon. Bev and I met during spring break . . . first week of April. Panera's . . . I had the asian chicken salad and she had a strawberry smoothie. My best buddy that used to live by you now lives by Bev. We took our spring break trip to Massachusetts . . . after vowing...
  3. Well, at our house, we sit up in bed and say "Holy Crap, It's an Earthquake!!" It wasn't strong enough to do any damage (we were about 150 miles away and it was about 5.4 at the epicenter). Just strong enough to wake everyone up, meet in the hallway to discuss it, watch about 15 minutes of the news to verify it was an earthquake (along with how big...
  4. EARTHQUAKE! Holy Crap!!!! . . . My First Ever!!! Open Original Shared Link
  5. ME!!! ME!!! ME!!!! . . . but I'm in the Indy area, too. Woke up EVERYONE in the house. The kids have slept through the alarm system going off (LOUD,LOUD,LOUD) but they didn't sleep through this!!! My first earthquake ever.
  6. Hang in there Sarah!!! My advice is to take care of yourself first!!!! I'd unload some/all of this info on the doc . . . that's what they are there for. See if she/he can help out with at least some free samples or in my kids' case, once a doc gave me a $20 coupon towards the prescription and 20 bucks is 20 bucks!!! Hugs & Prayers . . . hope things...
  7. OK . . . I don't want to replace one bad habit with another . . . but have you thought about sucking your thumb? It will keep your hands busy and give you something to suck on that is gluten/caisen/yeast/sugar/yeti/perfume-free . . . as long as you wash your hands first.
  8. It was like I knew to throw in that disclaimer at the end!!! How tricky were they??? . . . with the David Cook red herring, eh?? OK - Syesha and David, Switch!!! Me Too.
  9. Hmmmm . . . not sure that I should admit this . . . but I'm the one that cried on the last day of preschool instead of the first . . .
  10. Keep your hands busy, tom!!!! . . . Go polish practice your instrument or sumfin.
  11. My daughter always liked peanut butter on rice cakes (or corn thins) that she would "assemble" herself at school . . . too messy to pack otherwise. However, when my son was on his trial diet, he did not care for the rice cakes. A friend suggested peanut butter and nutella on a (cold) pancake. It worked wonders at our house. Before that point, my son would...
  12. No, Silly!!! The mayor is in the Red hat & blue T-shirt . . . that would make A wearing the red cape and a lace collar . . . it would also make him (AND Nikki) considerably older than we thought!!!
  13. Well, now that I've seen the performances . . . I think the bottom three will be Carly, Syesha, and Brooke. I don't think anybody screwed up but I'm going to predict that Syesha goes. I thought that Kristy did the best out of the girls . . . although we all know that doesn't mean she'll be safe. So, I didn't even recognize five out of the seven songs...
  14. Just got some exciting/nice/panicking news to share . . . A while back, I started a topic on what a sweetheart our school nurse is. Well, last fall, the local paper did it's yearly "nominate the best nurse" campaign (any kind of nurse, not just school). There was a drive at our school to send in letters of nomination for our nurse. I have now been...
  15. You know there is a way to tell, right???? Have somebody ring your doorbell. If you start clucking like a chicken, then you were hypnotized!!!!
  16. Your av is so appropriate . . . are you going to call on your shoe phone????? I'm happy for you Tom!!! and wishing you all kinds of success!!! . . . let the hypnotherapist know about that panic-attack-thingy . . . I'm sure he/she can help with that, too!!!
  17. With cleats, you can aerate your lawn every time you walk through. With suction cups, better traction when there's a spill on aisle nine.
  18. Susie!! Send me your dingo garden helper post haste . . . I'm headed out to do my spring cleanup.
  19. . . . or carry about handfuls of rubber tips to put on the metal spikes as we sachet across their floor.
  20. Oh . . . and Tom's av has prompted me . . . ask him if we can have shoe phones . . . in which case, I would definitely go with the suction cups . . . less likely to produce head trama.
  21. There was a recipe for a "just like Pamela's" in the baking/cooking section. I've used several times and it has worked well. It uses buttermilk powder which you could leave out and then instead of mixing with water, mix with almond or rice milk (or half alternative milk and half water because you don't really put that much buttermilk powder in). I'll go...
  22. Yep, Jack needs to answer these questions so that we can make an informed decision!!!! What do the shoes look like on top?? Do they look like cleats or tennis shoes? Or do they come in a more stylish pump? . . . just being difficult, I don't wear heels. They wouldn't go with my chapstick . . . but some other silly might like a more stylish shoe . ....
  23. I read that as . . . abso-freakin-gluteny . . . and thought . . . Ohhhhh, so that's his problem.
