    I've had great luck freezing cupcakes and muffins. I recommend freezing cupcakes without the icing though. I've never frozen icing but my grandmother did and it did not hold up well. The cookies should freeze just fine but depending on the type of cookie, you may want to freeze the dough instead. You can freeze just a lump of dough that you would...

    I'm tellin' ya' . . . chapstick and mascara. The rosy cheeks are curtesy of a hike on the beach the previous day (drizzle, windy and about 42oF). Now Bev on the other hand was all duded up . . . wanted to make a good impression on me.

    Yes, tis a requirement. I can be reported for NOT doing it resulting in fines/sanctions on the silly thread . . . I seem to do it now without even realizing it . . . on other threads . . . in my personal life (if you can believe that I do actually have a life off of this board!!)

    I've never had any luck freezing potatos (like in a stew or soup) they seem to fall apart and mess up the texture. On soups or stews, take out what you want to freeze before you add the potatoes and freeze it that way. Things I freeze on a regular basis . . .     My grandfather was one for years and years. Now my uncle is one. He was a substitute carrier until a position opened up. This is in my home town of about 3000 people. I can't imagine anything being a high stress job there. In my hometown, it seems the only way a mail carrying job opens up is when someone retires. You ARE working Saturdays though...
